Drinks: Passion Fruit Martini - Lyre's Dry London Spirit, premium vanilla syrup, passionfruit pulp and lime. Lychee Spritz - Lychee, ginger, lemongrass and lime. Masala Karak Chai - Very Authentic Starters: Mixed Papadums with a selection of Chutneys. Papadums were very crispy and they came with a fantastic selection of home made sauces. Momos - Steamed Nepalese Beef dumplings served with Tamarind, Ginger and Chilli dipping sauce. A delicious light starter with a freshly made dipping sauce. Papdi ki Chaat - it felt like I was in India. Classic Old Delhi chaat- Spicy potato and chickpeas, crispy papdi with sweet yoghurt, tamarind and green chutney. Mains: Tiger Prawn Balchao - This dish was unbelievable. The prawns were big and the flavours were mouthwatering. It was sweet, sour and it had a kick at the end of all that. By far one of my favourite dishes to date. Ghost Dum Biryani - The Biryani was absolutely delicious, the lamb was tender and full of flavour. It came with one of the best Riathas I’ve ever had. Gobi Matar - Again a massive hit. The Gobi and peas were crispy. It was a light but very flavoursome dish. We enjoyed this dish very much. Chicken Handi Murgh - It’s similar to a chicken jalfrazi but much more enhanced in flavour. Crispy peppers and onions cooked to a high standard. Peshwari Nan complimented this dish very well. Desserts: Pistachio Crème Brulee With Masala Biscuit - Very well presented. An extremely tasty dessert. Conclusion - A great dining experience. The interior of the restaurant was done to an extremely high standard. The food was even better. The presentation of the dishes were amazing followed by the friendly experienced staff. Thank you for having us. Can’t wait to revisit.

We went yesterday and even received 20%off our bill and liked the cleanliness and decor of the place. The lamb chops were delicious and the crème brûlée was lovely. The restaurant is non alcoholic but we still had fun

Amazing place, lovely interior, beautifully designed. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service provided. Very nice ambience. Dessert was sensational, unlike anything I’ve ever tried. Will defo be back again. Thank you to Mr Shoriful and Mr Maddie. I intend to come back to try the momo and the sea bass. The flavours in the tiger prawn balchao were succulent, juicy and tender, cooked in rich flavours. Defo recommend it.

adding to an already strong choice of restaurants in wanstead this restaurant is just off the high street, two minutes away from the station. they have a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks but the pina colada is the specialty. so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. the lychee spritz was also tasty and refreshing. what surprised me though was the food. so tender and so effortless. everything came off any bone it was on and didn’t get stuck in your teeth. the lamb chops are a fave. cooked just right and so soft. a first considering I always need to floss after. the chaat had just the right amount of spice. and the prawns in my prawn curry were meaty and lovely to chew on. butter chicken and the lamb shank were cooked to perfection and my friends enjoyed those curries along with the two different types of daal a lot. both were satisfying. the desserts were the perfect way to end our night. we had a pistachio crème brûlée and a date cake with a side portion of ice cream. perfect. I highly recommend the pistachio crème brûlée. i’d go back just for that. lastly the decor is consistent and you can see a lot of effort was made here by the owners. even the toilets are plush. every detail has been considered including the pod which I imagine will be a perfect night out in the winter cold. price wise you get what you pay for and they’ve definitely upped the standards. all in all a great place to dine and a welcome addition to the scene in wanstead. must visit if you’re a local. try something new :) I was able to get loads of photos too so that’s always a plus.
