We walked in having just purchased a home with a pool.. we told the guys we’ve swum in pools before, but that was the limit of our knowledge! We had a sample with us and they analysed it and then went through an encyclopaedic brain-dump of knowledge. They didn’t try to sell us everything under the sun and we walked out with a few chemicals and instructions on how to apply them. Couldn’t have been easier.

It was my first time visiting Gladesville Swimart last week and it was a really positive experience. I was greeted straight away by a young man and a woman, both of whom were friendly and approachable. They took the time to explain things clearly without feeling rushed or sales-driven. Amazing local service — highly recommended! I built a pool with Crystal Pools in 2024 and within the first year my Watermaid saltwater chlorinator cell cracked due to my previous maintenance person overtightening it. I was initially told a replacement cell would cost $1,250. The team at Swimart Gladesville went above and beyond. They used their relationship with Watermaid to have the issue covered under warranty and are now installing the new cell completely free of charge. Outstanding customer service and support — a huge thank you to Peter in particular for his help throughout the process. It’s rare to see businesses genuinely advocate for their customers like this. Highly recommend Swimart Gladesville to anyone with a pool.

WARNING- Don't waste your time or money going here! We took a water sample to them, they sold us $100 worth of products to fix our green pool. We added the products, but it only made it worse- only to then read their own chemical report which stated that the pool was already over-stabilized, and yet they sold us more product which also had even more stabilizer in it! We consequently had to empty our pool. They refused to refund our money. We just wanted a refund, however they refused today. In return- here's 1 star for all the world to see. Go somewhere else that knows more about what to recommend.

Hi Samuel Regarding your comment on google I provide the following response. Your wife visited the shop on the 18th Dec 2023 some 4 weeks ago. She explained that you had a green pool and wanted it clear ASAP. As this was your first visit to Swimart Gladesville for a water test we had her complete a new client profile. She explained that the pool was green and when asked if you could see the bottom she answered no. We took her through a green pool treatment explaining the steps and providing her with a step by step process handout. She purchase Chlorine Concentrate to bomb the pool and Metal Free Algaecide to kill the Algae. We were aware of the high stabiliser content in your pool however the priority was to treat the green pool. Your wife was asked to return to the shop so we could balance the water and at that stage we would have addressed the high stabiliser level, a week after doing the original green pool treatment. In 99% of occasions if this treatment is done correctly then the pool will clear in a few days. You wanted to return the chemicals purchased on the 18 Dec, some 3 weeks later and then claim the treatment didn’t work when you clearly hadn’t used the chemicals purchased or followed our recommendations. I totally understand that you can buy product from wherever you want, however, we will not be responsible for the performance of substitute chemicals and the results you may or may not achieve. If you had of followed our green pool treatment we are extremely confident that it would have worked and cleared your pool as advised. In regard to returns/refunds we have a clearly displayed sign in store stating our refund policy. This sign is directly underneath the service register for all clients to see.
