Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. Deeply Disappointed by Swimart Castle Hill and staff behaviour.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I deeply regret engaging Swimart Castle Hill, and I wish I had taken the time to read the numerous negative reviews beforehand, many of which mirror my experience exactly.
The service has consistently been poor and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, technicians arrived, did the bare minimum (if anything), left without providing any explanation or report, and sent through an invoice immediately. There was no transparency, no accountability, and certainly no effort to maintain basic customer care standards.
I initially trusted that by hiring this company, my pool would be in good hands. Instead, it has been a complete nightmare, especially due to the conduct of the owner, Ron. Despite numerous emails and messages since April, I received no response or support. When I withheld payment due to unresolved issues with the system (issues that were never properly addressed or fixed), Ron finally contacted me. But instead of showing professionalism or a willingness to resolve the matter, he showed up at my home and insulted me in person, displaying astonishing arrogance and disrespect.
Demanding payment for a service that was never delivered properly, while ignoring repeated attempts to resolve the issue, is simply unacceptable. I had made it clear that I would be more than happy to pay once the system was functioning as promised. Yet the only urgency shown was in chasing the outstanding invoice, not in delivering what was agreed upon months ago.
To all potential customers: please read the reviews before engaging this business. My experience has been unpleasant, stressful, and wholly avoidable. The lack of professionalism and care shown by Swimart Castle Hill and particularly by its owner is truly disappointing!!

You would think after 50years in the industry they care about pool owners, Price Gouged me for watered down acid, i would have been done yesterday had i not wasted my time here. absolute ripoff joke $34 for acid that costs $19 at bunnings

We strongly refute the claim that our acid or any of our products are “watered down.” This is a serious and unfounded accusation. All chemicals sold at Swimart Castle Hill meet strict industry standards and are clearly labelled with product specifications. We do not dilute or alter any products we sell.
Regarding pricing, the figures quoted in your review are simply not accurate. Swimart Castle Hill’s pricing is competitive within the pool and spa specialty retail market. While our prices may not match Bunnings, we are a specialist pool store providing tailored advice, quality products, and ongoing support—something big box stores simply cannot offer.

Good customer service friendly staff, Products are overpriced, over $30 for 5L Acid, which was watered down and no I did not grab the salt cell cleaner, which is an even more watered down version of Hydrochloric acid, worst quality I have ever come across, it really shows when your doing an “ACID WASH”have never had these issues purchasing my chemicals at Bunnings, Pool acid has never been more than $20 there! chlorine is only $17 for 15L,

Not a professional company—bad staff with no experience and terrible customer service. They overcharge, don’t take responsibility for their mistakes, and respond to customers with rudeness instead of fixing issues. Avoid them if you want reliable service.

Price increased twice a year. Progress is slow. Not really worth it.

Very upset! Terrible customer service. I talked to Michelle and requested for quote and she assured me that she get back to me but despite my several emails, there was no response! I called and the store said she left already! No responsibility!
