River Oaks Landing

June 2022 UPDATE: I’ve lived here for about two weeks now and am enjoying it so far. I removed a star from my original review because access to the amenities are very limited. We loved the clubhouse area & game room. It was one of the reasons we fell in love with the place. When we toured, we were told the amenities would be available 24/7 & since my husband doesn’t get home until after 6 - that was a selling point for us. Unfortunately, the owners have decided that the clubhouse area (including the game room) would only be open during the office business hours. Therefore, adults who work regular 9-5 jobs won’t have access to the space except on the weekends & even those hours are limited (10AM-5PM). The area is perfect for residents who are into sports & it would be a great space to watch the playoffs; unfortunately, most games start AFTER the office is closed. I honestly don’t understand the purpose of having such a beautiful space with such limited availability. I’m also not a fan of the limited # of guests allowed for the pool. They allow 2 guests per unit (not per resident/lease holder). I understand the purpose is to limit the amount of non-residents taking over or loud pool parties; but this community has 3 bedroom units which legally allow 6 people. So those 6 people can only invite 2 friends? I had wanted to invite my best friend, her significant other, and their 5 year old daughter to spend time with me, my husband, and our 3 year old son, but we can’t because of the 2 guest rule. Seems a little extreme in my opinion. That’s my biggest issue - the “amenities” - for $1800/month, I expected less limitations when it came to the amenities. Lastly, I wish there was a play area for my son. April 2022 (originally 5 stars): When we were notified that our current apartment complex was increasing our monthly rate by $430, we decided to look elsewhere. We contacted River Oaks Landing on Friday 4/1/22, and scheduled a tour for the following day. We didn't have a sitter, so we had to bring our rowdy three year old, & the Assistant Community Manager Cassie (Catherine) was kind, patient, & understanding. She was polite & answered any questions/concerns we had. She was transparent and showed us the numbers to ensure that we were able to secure our desired unit at the best price. She was absolutely amazing! We applied & were approved the same day. The process was quick & easy. We don't officially move in until June 2022; however, I have high expectations/hopes re: our future stay. This is our 3rd apartment complex in this area. We've stayed at Summerwind & Alcove Garner (formally Cleveland Crossing), and so far River Oaks River Landing has had the best customer service for prospective tenants. Cassie's communication has been quick and efficient. We don't have to wait DAYS for a response. Also, when compared to our previous apartment complexes, River Oaks has the best floor plan options, amenities, and out of all three the apartment interiors, theirs are ACTUALLY luxurious with the big garden tubs, islands, white shaker-style cabinetry, quartz countertops, huge walk-in closets, upgraded designer fixtures, etc. We're excited to relocate to River Oaks Landing in June and will update/edit our review once we've lived there for a few months.

Beautiful apartments and complex. Super convenient to I-40. Highly recommend checking them out!

Everyone has been so amazing! The entire application and move in process was broken down for us. We had so many questions and they were happy to answer all of them and more! There are so many amazing amenities and I’m so excited to use them all! Super responsive and completely understanding. Bonus point for the amazing amenities for my pup! We look forward to our move in day! So excited!!

Great apartments! We looked at so many apartments between Raleigh Clayton and Garner and this by far was our favorite! Cassie was amazing and so nice showing my husband myself and my daughter around! Even though they are still doing construction you can really see how it will be a GREAT community when completed! So excited to apply and move in down the road! Thank you Cassie!
