Bought our second car in a few months from Motor Match Chester - fantastic experience and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend Tom Hinde who was extremely professional and thorough throughout the whole experience. We will definitely be back

I came today to buy my first car. The two men in the showroom were very obviously watching us, talking about us and gesturing towards us. They had been watching us through the window looking at some cars outside. When we approached the building both men burst out laughing.. so I turned around an got back in my friends car and we drove away. I would rather take my business to someone who isn't being crude or rude. Wether it was about our appearance or about the fact we were just a couple of girls, either way you made us feel uncomfortable. Disgraceful company.

My experience with Motor Match Chester was absolutely great from start to finish! I found the car via Auto Trader and made an enquiry, within a few hours I received a thorough walk round video of the car detailing every little bit. I am amazed at how quick the process was! I went from enquiring about the car to buying it and having it at home on my drive within about two weeks! Amanda Crosher dealt with my sale amazingly and I am so so grateful for everything! I am loving my new vehicle. Thank you all very much!

Tag line: time wasters and non apologetic To Ben Lee, you are right, you didn’t purposely waste my time, but you did it anyway due to the lack of attention on your end. I spoke to Ben on Wednesday. Stating that I am coming from London and that I am quite peculiar about the body work. Ben offered for a video of the car but I stated that a video will never capture everything when it comes to body work, and I wanted him to give the car a good look over to let me know if there were any dents/ scuffs/ marks which are other than the usual stone chips. With this assessment I would determine if I should make the journey or not. He has reassured me that they are an expert on distance selling during the last couple of years with Covid and the car was in pristine condition and was prepped and ready to go, of which he still made a video which didn’t actually show much of the body work where which he focused a lot on stone chips (which was something I said I was actually fine with). I then put down a deposit. 250 miles later with overnight stay, I was then greeted next morning on the forecourt of motormatch Cheshire with a very visible dent on the passenger side rear door of the XC40 I put a deposit down on. Ben was surprised that the dent was even there and claimed he has never seen it. Both he and the management team was not willing to drop the price any further - even though he knew the first thing I asked was about the body work before I had any other questions about the car. Severely disappointed with the whole situation, Ben didn’t have another solution, and so I was forced to walk away with a 250 mile drive back home without the purchase I was intending. As you can imagine, the financial implication for me is that I am out of pocket with fuel and hotel for the journey, which came down to the fact that my initial and most critical question was not taken seriously or was skipped out. I am sure motormatch might have good cars for sale, but the combination of the lack of details from the sales function and a damaged car was the combination which resulted in a bad customer experience.

Bought a car from here only the other day. Bought it on the Tuesday and picked up on the Wednesday thanks to Becky. She was very helpful and shown us everything we need to know about the car and was very polite. Good price for the car and a MOT and service was provided. Becky was excellent and we couldn’t be happier.

Just thought I’d write a few lines regarding my experience with Motor match Chester. I searched out a vehicle on auto trader and contacted the branch to arrange a viewing. Upon arrival I was met by Tom Hughes who presented the car and answered my questions professionally and in a friendly manner. I decided to buy the car and on handover day was over the moon with the appearance of the car and the ease of purchase. The dealership is smart, modern and all the staff are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend buying from this dealership and Tom was great. Thanks guys.
