Ordered a custom ring, they spelt the name wrong so they gave me a completely different ring, had the ring for 2 weeks and the whole diamond setting fell out, 2 weeks later, a diamond fell out, got a completely different ring again and 2 months later, the diamond setting fell out again. I have had 3 different rings in the last 6 months. Their rings are very cheaply made and I will not be buying anything from here again.

Went to get my engagement ring cleaned and inspected Iiked I do twice a year. Well I happen to stop it Janesville Kay's jewelry. The two women didn't greet me. I had to get one Attention. The greeting was dry and I told him what I wanted. Well I got my ring cleaned and not inspected ,she didn't dry it or polish it. She just said here's your ring that she set in a cheap basket not the counter wet. And just left. I told my husband I'll never going back to that location. I will and do drive back to Madison, If I need anything from them.

Will not be returning horrible customer service. They barely acknowledge you when you walk in the door. Called to have my ring fixed and they had it for well over 3 weeks because they put the wrong stone in it. And now I have to get it fixed again because all there screwing around made the prongs weak enough to bend with a little tug, Incredibly frustrating to say the least. Take your jewlery and buisness elsewhere...

I visited this Kay Jewelers 12/05/2021 to fix my wife's ring which I purchased nine years ago. Things were much different back then, it was a warm inviting place. Fast forward to today, scams, poor customer service, attempts to double charge with a receipt, which indicates PIF AKA (paid in full) noted. They then demanded that they keep the receipt. They also pushed un-needed things such as a resize. This resize amounted to double the cost. Mind you we visited Kay Jewelers to fix a couple loose prongs on my wife's wedding ring. Now my wife has a ring that appears to be so thin it will break at any moment. Beware crooks and scammers are lurking at this location

My first experience (August-September 2020) was absolutely awful. It took 2 1/2 weeks to resize my engagement ring and wedding band when they told me it would only take 10 days. The day before I was supposed to pick it up, I called to get an update and they said they haven’t even started on it yet. I won’t elaborate too much more, but I was livid. I swore I would never go back. The saddening part was that my grandmother (who had passed just 10 days prior to this) absolutely LOVED this store and always came here. And since I have her wedding set, I thought it was only appropriate that I brought it here. Almost a year later, my wedding is August 21, 2021 and I need to get my two rings soldered together and resized again (because soldering would cause them to be tighter). I called around a few places and most of them were either completely booked or way too expensive so I thought I’d give Kay’s a call and see what they can do. Stacey (who had helped me both times) said that normally this would take 3 weeks to do (at this time my wedding is less than 3 weeks away) but because she wanted to make up for my last experience she said she would put it at the front of the line and make sure the jewelers know its a “special order” and that my earliest pickup date would be 8/13. Well when I got off work today 8/9 I had a voicemail saying it’s ready for pickup. It could just be me, but it appeared to be even shinier than the first time. I am beyond happy and impressed with this turnaround!! Stacey was absolutely phenomenal BOTH times. I know my grandmother would be even happier than I am🤣 1000/10!!!!!
