Excellent care of both my grandparents, up until the end of my granddads life and now continued care and genuine listening and support for my Gran now that she is living alone. Cannot fault the team in any capacity, extremely grateful for carers who truly CARE.

Mum is a unique person and requires a unique personality to keep her company. We trialled many carers, who were all great, but not quite the right fit. We then had Sarah and she was the one in 10 million we were looking for! She is a 12 out of 10! It is such a luxury for me to be able to go to karate without anything distracting my attention!

We have used Dovida to help our family with our elderly mother -at our great time of need , confusion, and emotion - Dovida and their team of angels provided the backbone for the support of my mother and also me. I couldnt have made it through this period without Dovida and in particular there is one carer who I believe has played a major part in, well, keeping my mother alive. Choosing Dovida Sydney North Shore and Northern Beaches was the best decision my family made. They provided  services for my mother for just under a year, and meant that me and my brothers and my father could enjoy quality time with mum. Their support made it possible for mum to remain comfortable and independent at home for far longer than we could have managed without them. The caregivers were professional, polite, and punctual — but most importantly, they cared with their hearts. They provided personal care which meant my mum was able to keep her dignity, they helped around the house which was a huge help for my dad, all done  with genuine compassion and respect. When searching for caregivers for my mum and dad I was faced with a sea of options. I got lucky when I chose Dovida Sydney North Shore (formerly Home Instead). I spoke with Jenny, who would become my parents Care Manager, and it was her friendly, helpful manner that decided it for me. From day one, nothing has been too hard. Her willingness to help in whatever way she can has been so comforting for myself and my parents. The caregivers that she has organised have also been wonderful - every single one of them so kind, caring and warm. My parents have been through some huge challenges in the last couple of years and Dovida has allowed them to stay at home and feel supported through these difficult times. The caregivers at Dovida Northern Beaches are truly exceptional. Compassionate, attentive, and deeply committed, they go above and beyond to provide thoughtful, personalised care. You can genuinely feel their dedication in every interaction. It’s rare to find such a consistently high standard of care—Dovida sets the benchmark.

My mum and dad have been clients of Dovida for quite a few years now ( when it was formerly known as Home Instead) Having carers in has meant that they are still able to live independently in their retirement village. (They are 97 and 95!) The help with shopping, cooking some meals and small things like washing sheets etc been invaluable in helping maintain their independence through the difficult process of aging.Sometimes mum and dads frustration with their diminishing capacities can make them a little ' difficult'. Its all understandable but I have always found the carers to be kind ,tolerant and compassionate, constantly changing things up to meet their needs. Just as importantly it has enabled my sisters and myself to be what only we can be...ie their daughters, without having to take on the complete responsibility of being their carers. Being daughters is demanding enough! I'd highly recommend Dovida and their staff!
