Harbourside SoNo Apartments

Harbourside Sono is a nightmare. Horribly maintained. Unprofessional and dishonest staff. Elevator has been broken for over a year (in a two year old building). Mold/water damage everywhere due to a fire. Plus, the noise from the loading dock across the street will keep you up all night. Oh, and the noise from the new construction coming across the street where they're building a brand-new waterfront building that will eliminate any view from the Harbourside apartments!

I had a wonderful move-in experience here at harbourside sono. Josephine and Sam have made this whole process seamless and really have gone above and beyond. The amenities are amazing and the building is beautiful!

New management (BH) has provided poor service and experience. They have shown no flexibility in working with tenants; instead they just throw contract stipulations at you. Too many rules and regulations. What used to be a community, has turned into an unpleasant place to live. Took them months to fix an elevator, add mulch to the dog run, staircases always filthy. As soon as they came on board, rents went up, they added water meters and started charging for parking. They also reserved a lot of the covered parking spaces for their employees. They also kept $100 of my deposit for having left behind a few cleaning products. Petty and pathetic. Happy to have left.

I toured the building today for the second time with Samuel, whom had originally showed me the building over a year ago. He is very knowledgable about the area and was helpful with all the questions and concerns I had. The units themselves are very modern with lots of natural light. The building has a really great vibe and the staff could not be friendlier :)

I was a bit skeptical about going back to apartment living after spending the past 6 years in a stand-alone house. Harbourside Sono has completely changed the way I feel about this! The amenities are amazing, the place is always clean and well organized. All of the staff members (Josephine, Gus and Sam) have been extremely helpful and nice since day one! They are all very easy to work with! I really look forward to my time here at Harbourside and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place!

Pros: Good location, New, Good amenities Cons: For the price the noise transfer between units is poor, Parking garage is poorly designed and dangerous (especially in winter), No screens on sliding door/windows (they offered me the option to buy and install them on my own), Garbage receptacle rarely operates correctly on my floor, Residents do not follow basic rules (parking, carts left in hallways, dogs off leash, noisy during "quiet hours") AND this brand new building was just sold to new owners...odd. UPDATE: I added a picture of the parking lot after some overnight flurries (it's all ice and downhill).
