When putting in my new sink which was much deeper the installers lowered it. There way of moving the garbage disposal was to drop it onto my cabinet base floor under the sink making a large hole there. When I called the company to complain requesting they fix it. I was told to contact customer service specific number. I then called that number and talked to a woman by the name of Amy Crain. She asked that I email her pictures of the damage which I did within twenty-four hours or her request. I asked that either they send technicians out to fix what they had broken or the company agree to reimburse me if I hired someone on my own. After about a week Mrs. Crain got back to me and said that the company was not liable for the damages. That is B.S. in my opinion. I strongly encourage you not to use this company!

We had a very bad experience with colonial couple of months back. We had our kitchen counter replaced through them. First, we had to call multiple times the previous day to check when the installers were going to be in. This was supposed to be automatic. Once they came, they said removal of old counter was not included and charged us $300 more for it. That was still ok, however they broke a portion of the old faucet during removal.
The plumber came the next day, said there was a part broken and I had to rush to home depot and get a new faucet costing around $200 as the counter top was already pre cut installed. We had the plumber write a note that we had to buy the faucet only becos of broken part when it was removed. NO CALLS COME THE PREVIOUS DAY WITH WHEN THE PLUMBER WILL COME OR FOR ANY SCHEDULING. Email to sales rep goes unanswered.
Went to colonial KOP office the next day, with the installation order, the plumbers note and requested a refund. Was promised this would happen within 7-10 days however its been a month and still no check. Am thinking of filing a case with small business court. Will never recommend this to anyone STAY AWAY

When they came to install, it was close to 5 pm. When I noticed they had cut the wrong sink size, I questioned it. There had been a number switch from my written order to the typed one the installers had. Tried to call service department but kept getting cut off. Finally told them to install it and I'd handle it the next day. This was followed by a series of calls over successive days, all originating from me. Each time, I spoke to Wendy who was going to get to me "next". It has been four days since I last called and agreed to a grid for the new sink and a cutting board to match the countertop. She said she'd get back to me the next day. I strongly advise that you not deal with this company. The frustration of their service is not worth it!

I went into Colonial two times and received horrible service. The first time I happened to be in the area and just stopped in. The saleswoman told me to sign in and never said anything else. She was helping another customer but never greeted me, thanked me for coming in, or said I'll be with you shortly. I waited for about 5 minutes and NOTHING! No one acknowledged that I was there. I left.
The next time, I made an appointment. I thought that maybe that's how you get good service. No. I walked in at my appt time and had to sign in. He started helping a couple who walked in after me. When he found out I had an appointment, he told me that 10 ppl walked in right before me, so I had to wait until they were done. He told me the appointment was for planning purposes, but they can't not help a walk-in just because someone has an appointment. Maybe it's just me, but that's what I thought an appointment was for. At any rate, he spoke with a very condescending tone and was not the least bit helpful. Boy was I happy when I called my contractor and he told me I was in the wrong place! The service at the countertop place 5 minutes away was 100x better.
I do not recommend.
