The staff was welcoming and kind. Yoga with Hannah was restorative. The massages and other treatments were soothing and relaxing. I enjoyed the pool and fitness center, and my room was lovely. Looking forward to returning at some point.

This place is fabulous! Everything was perfect from Susanah at the front desk to the Roman and Samantha, the wait staff, in the dinning room. The man who was working the front desk at night was also very helpful, I think his name was Michael. I had a wonderful, relaxing massage with Julia the first day and an amazing mud bath with Sana the next. The entire property was spotless. In fact, the day I checked out, which I did not want to do, I would have stay three more days if I could have, there was a girl on her hands and knees dusting the moldings along the floor (how many other hotels do that??)! The breakfast and dinner included in the package I booked were so delicious! There were two or three options to choose from each meal, all vegan and healthy. The chefs came out each time to check on me at each meal and they were lovely. I highly recommend YO1. I cannot wait to back and take everyone I know,

The good: the bed was absolutely amazing, soft like a cloud, and I genuinely had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a while. The in-room steam shower worked perfectly, and having a massage table in the room was a nice touch that could have made for a great spa experience. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. This resort nickel and dimes you for everything. They even charge per person staying in the same room — so the rate for a couple is higher than for a single guest, which feels petty and inconsistent with a “luxury” positioning. For a place that claims to be a high-end wellness resort, there is nothing refined or luxurious about the overall experience. It feels like a property that’s struggling financially and cutting corners — undertrained and understaffed employees, cheaply printed menus, no espresso drinks, no freshly squeezed juice, and clinical, hospital-like hallways that completely break the “retreat” vibe. The lake looks like a mosquito infested swamp. The service lacks polish, the amenities feel bare, and the atmosphere leans more toward a medical rehab center than a rejuvenating luxury resort. If you’re looking for a true luxury wellness experience, this isn’t it. The room was great, but the overall stay felt like an overpriced disappointment.

My wife and I came here for a weekend getaway, to recharge and spend some time together away from the kids. This is a nice place to come and recharge with some caveats. Lets start with the bad. Yes there are stains, yes theres some areas with leaks that could use some work. If you're someone who sees a stain and gets grossed out, or cares about a missing letter on a sign, this place is not for you. The good good: rooms are a good size and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. I counted 10 cars in the lot and we barely saw anyone the whole weekend. One of the few people we saw had been walking around all day in a bath robe. Love it. We had 24/7 access to the sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs, wife and I enjoyed the steam room at 10pm after dinner and some games in the activity room. Want a colon cleanse? Help yourself. We both got a deep tissue massage which was very good, and walked the premises a few times (they also have free moutain bikes if you prefer). The grounds are beautiful, staff were friendly and the food is decent. If you're expecting fried chicken and bacon at a wellness center/spa, think again. It was pretty awesome to feel like we had the whole place to ourselves, could help ourselves to most of the wellness services whenever we wanted and overall felt nicely recharged after 2 nights.

THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW PLZ READ Amenities The amenities at YO1 are top tier. Everything works as it should—whether it’s the spa facilities, wellness areas, or relaxation spaces. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a luxury experience, and it definitely delivers in terms of comfort and functionality. Service / Management The staff here are hardworking, polite, and very accommodating. You can tell they’re doing their best and really care about guests. That said, it’s also clear that management is disconnected. The workers seem to carry the weight while upper management doesn’t put in the same level of effort or attention, which is unfair to the team. Cleanliness Overall, the place is very clean, which is impressive given the size of the property. Some areas could use a little more tending, but considering how massive the resort is, it’s understandable and not a dealbreaker at all. Experience The experience itself is unique. The resort feels eerily empty during the week, which makes you wonder how it will sustain itself long term. That said, the emptiness actually works in your favor—it feels like you have the place to yourself. On weekends, it does pick up and feel livelier, but the quieter stretches during the week can make the stay feel private and almost surreal.

We spent a couple of days this past weekend at YO1 and would like to write a candid review of my experiences. First the facility. The resort is in a serene location in the Catskills. It's a peaceful getaway it you want to disconnect from the world for a bit. Even though the outside could use some more maintenance, the inside is spectacular. The spa, the atrium, yoga room and pool are wonderful. The game room was so much fun, especially when you're with friends. Lots of space to hang around when you're in a group. The rooms are very new and bathrooms clean and modern. Now for the food. The breakfast is really good spread with so many options. Plus eating on the deck with a view of the outdoors was a bonus. There are few people eating the other meals so hard for me to comment. To sum it up, I would recommend this resort if you plan to meditate, do yoga and go to the spa. If you're looking for a lot of activity, this is not for you. Also, this could be a lot of fun for large groups.
