This was my first time to use WNC Chimney for routine preventive maintenance on our vented natural gas fireplace. The technician arrived when expected, was efficient, effective, and an otherwise delightful young man with whom to interact. I look forward to continuing to use them to keep my family and house safe when using this appliance.
Benjy was great! He was on time, very professional, and friendly. Throughout the inspection, he explained everything clearly and was happy to answer any questions. At the end, I was provided with several great options, along with their estimates.
Tristan and his co-worker came to service our vent free fireplace which kept going out. They took time to hear me summarize our experience with it over the past few years and were able to clean and adjust it to hopefully be working well now. It's still on and it would have gone out by now before they worked on it! Tristan is extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot about our system, how it works and why it didn't before the service. He even shared information about other types of fireplaces that I was curious about. Best of all, they were very tolerant of our little dog who loves people and wouldn't leave them alone unless we took her outside! Thanks for the friendly professional guys!
They came on time, inspected and cleaned our chimneys. We were given a complete explanation of needed repairs with photos. Tristen and Jordan are excellent professionals. Update: Vic and Garrett spent the last three days removing our old flues and replacing them with double walled steel. They worked hard every minute they were here. WNC Chimney people are careful to explain their work and they leave clear directions about how to use and maintain the chimneys. They just did an excellent job all around!
