Windsor West Lemmon Apartments

I am writing this review to make potential residents aware of the airplane noise issue that exists in this community. Had I known about this noise issue, I would not have moved here. Overall, Windsor West Lemmon apartments is managed well and well kept. Robert and Julie in the leasing office are truly excellent. However, the fact that this apartment complex was built next to an airport and there was no amount of soundproofing done is very disappointing. I would not recommend this apartment complex if you are looking for a quiet place to live. I am unable to sleep well at night or enjoy my apartment during the day due to constant loud noise of airplanes flying every 20 minutes, the noise is worse from ~5am to midnight but airplanes can be heard throughout the night as well. I sometimes get woken up at 3am from airplanes. The noise comes in mostly through the windows so I have to sleep in the master closet (away from the windows) to get a good nights sleep. There are good solutions to this problem which involve soundproofing the windows but the apartment has refused to invest in this. I contacted property management about this issue and requested soundproofing of the windows. I even provided them a quote from a local company that specializes in soundproofing using glass window inserts that would not affect uniformity of the apartments but would solve the issue. The complex denied my request. If you are considering moving here, please be aware of this airplane noise issue. This noise problem is not something you will get used to.

I lived here from July 2021 to July 2022 in Building 2 and I really liked it! Windsor West Lemmon offers clean and spacious apartments, kind maintenance and support staff, and great amenities. I loved the pool, gym, and dog patio. My one complaint was that parking in Building 2 could be tricky. There were barely enough spots at times and even fewer that weren’t tough for younger drivers to navigate. However, the proximity to Oak Lawn, Uptown, Love Field, I-35, Northwest Highway, Highland Park, and Northwest Highway was excellent- superb location. This was, overall, a great complex!!

I moved from Michigan to Dallas and can say I got very lucky with picking the right complex. Robert and Julie are both very helpful and professional and makes sure your move runs smoothly. The complex is very clean and new and I love the area considering its basically in highland park. I feel safe and comfortable!!

I have been at Windsor for over a year after originally moving to Dallas. Can’t ask for a better experience. Friendly, timely and attentive staff Julie and Rob including the maintenance team are wonderful to work with. Best dog park in Dallas exclusive to residents, great pool area and close to Victory Park.

Living here for about 8 months, me and my wife love it. Fair pricing and the amazing dog park our dog is obsessed with. Julie the assistant manager always helps me out with any questions or concerns right there on the spot. Robert the property manager is the cool calm and collected this property needs and totally gives into the vibe of the other residents. Maintenance guys are awesome to shout out to Able and Wilson keeping the property in tip top shape
