Wiener Haus

We are Canadian tourists and only speak English. When ordering we pointed to the exact items we wanted and did our best to read the Italian explaining we didn’t speak Italian, The waiter responded in only Italian speaking very fast and quietly in the loud restaurant and seemed frustrated with us instead of sending someone who could better communicate. We proceeded to wait 40 minutes for our drinks (a beer and a water) and I had to flag down another server to get them for us…. then waited another 25 minutes beyond that for our food. The meal was okay but service was horrible and slow. Wouldn’t eat here again as it was expensive and 30 minutes into the wait we almost walked out however felt bad and just waited through it. It seemed like a few other customers were also unhappy with their experience and the long wait for service and food. Also there wasn’t any alcoholic beverages that didn’t have dark beer in them.

Good Italiano-German food at fair prices. Service is great, waiters and waitresses are patient. Unfortunately they don’t have English menu. I survived with Google Translate!
