We are longtime customers but be weary for they do not offer any credit or returns for cichlids for they are “aggressive fish” or anything over $10. Purchased two Florida raised cichlids on Saturday which totaled $100 and almost immediately one started to act ill and passed away within 24 hours. Called in today to see if we could have in store credit but was stated above on the call but not during the purchase. The assistant begin to try to point out the cause with starting my with water testing but we tested immediately after the fish died and all was normal other than the ammonia slightly was above base (which is normal when a fish passes in your tank) then said it must have been attacked by the other fish, it was not and fins are completely intact. We intentionally did a water change prior to adding (because if you own cichlids the best time to introduce fish is during water changes to curve territorial behavior) The icing on the cake was the assistant straight lied to me saying they have had the florida raised cichlids for 3 months now so it “had to be something on our end because they are pretty hearty” but we were just in 3 weeks ago shopping for cichlids and for feeder fish for a different tank and they did not have them. I understand, you do not offer returns but don’t make it seem like we intentionally killed a fish when this has been our hobby for 4 years. The other cichlid we purchased is now also acting ill so I’m assuming it will also die and we will be out $100. But anyway, enjoy pictures of our other cichlids that we have had for years.(first picture has the strawberry that passed away 12 hours later after the picture)

I love this pet shop!! I’ve been making an effort to support more local business and I’m so glad I am! I try to buy everything I can here, they do have good selections of dog/cat food & supplies. The animals are well taken care of and the ones roaming the store are as sweet as can be! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have been recommending this pet shop to all the animal lovers in my life!

They are always great and very helpful. They carry the big bags of dog food to my car for me. they even helped me pick out a Cost for my furr babie and it fit Perfect.

This is an amazing family own and operated pet store. I absolutely love how they love the pets. The pets they have on site are definitely spoiled. Thanks to their knowledge of soo many different types of animals so are mine. They have a rewards system that helps me save money. They do some grooming. They clip nails and wings. Their bird room really is fun. It was great to get to interact with the birds before I picked one. ( we bought two of theirs) . When I'm outta town they do over the phone orders for my kids to pick up. We are usually in the store at least twice a week for bugs. They have helped me pick the right insects for our beardies as they grew. Just honestly the best pet store in stark county. Stop in check out the animals. Learn about them and pick out something that suits your family. It has brought our family together learning and and experiencing our new pets. It brings us closer and promise when the crab 🦀 pinches your finger or the birds mocks you maybe it's the whole family trying to get the guinea pig from under the couch your gonna make some fun memories. 😉 The folks at whiskers is gonna help you get through just about anything from potty training to mite power.

Great selection of fish and reptiles and supplies. Large selection of fresh water fish, they also have saltwater fish but not as large of a selection. The largest selection of reptiles I've seen in the area. The dog and cat toys are limited. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for exotic fresh water fish and reptiles.
