Westminster Village Terre Haute

I’ve been a part of the Westminster Village family for almost eight. During my experience, I have made many friendships (team members and residents) and have made many great memories. I enjoy working at Westminster Village for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is the teamwork and positivity I see on a daily basis. Our community’s team members work tirelessly to ensure the happiness and comfort of our residents. I take great pride in working at Westminster Village and look forward to many more years to come!

Westminster Village of Terre Haute is truly a pleasure anytime I walk through the doors. Staff alongside residents is what brings this community to life. The positive atmosphere that the community radiates daily is infectious. I look forward to future visits at the community when visiting because it reminds me of home regarding how everyone treats each other like family.

Westminster treated my mother with great care and patience. The enrollment staff been over backwards to make her feel welcome and get her an accommodations that were comfortable for her and the nursing and daily staff were unbelievably attentive. And on top of that the amenities are second to none. Would recommend Westminster to anyone Needing care and a wonderful place to stay.

Mom has been in the Healthcare Center at Westminster Village for over two years now and truly considers it her home. I like the small community feeling- it seems as if everyone from the nursing staff and administration through housekeeping staff, bus drivers, maintenance staff and even residents in the independent living area knows my mom, takes the time to greet her by name and talk to her, and make sure that she’s doing ok. Given that I live too far to visit as frequently as I would like, I find it reassuring to know so many people truly care and are looking out for her. Westminster Village does a lovely job maintaining their facilities, planning special events for their residents, and just generally trying to make life as pleasant as possible for their residents. The best times are in the spring when ducklings live in the flowered courtyard, brightening everyone’s day with their antics. While we all wish for our parents (and ourselves) to be able to stay in our own homes, it’s reassuring to know there are lovely places with kind people who are there when needed. Westminster Village is that kind of place.

My parents have lived in Westminster Village assisted living and health center since June, 2021. Even though it has been a difficult transition, moving from their home of 65 years, the staff and administration have been very helpful in making them feel at home. When my dad was very ill, the staff took excellent care of him and were very supportive to our family when he passed away in January. Heather (social services coordinator) maintains excellent communication with our family and goes above and beyond to make sure we have all our questions answered.
