*WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS STORE* Anyone thinking to buy TV from this store, please read my Experience and then Visit the store...! We visited VU Store Velachery on 04-Jun-2022 to by VU Cinema Action TV 55 inch which is 40k sold in Amazon with 1 year warranty. Store representative forced us that 1 Year warrant is not available only 3 years warranty TV's we have and opt for the same. Since Store representative was forcing us we agreed for the same. We purchased TV on 04-Jun-2022. Store representative offered us confirmed installation on 05-Jun-2022 (Sunday). But said delivery is not available on Sunday since store is closed on Sundays. They didn't had delivery vehicle on 04-Jun-2022 since it was night, we have booked a PORTER Truck, paid Rs.500 for delivery and took TV to home. We clearly instructed the store representative that we'll be not available in home from Monday to Friday since we are working professionals and we need installation on 05-Jun-2022. Store representative gave 100% assurity that installation will be done on 05-Jun-2022 for sure. We were continuously following up with the Store representative from morning to evening about the installation on 05-Jun-2022. End of the Day no one turned up, suddenly we got a call from Mysore, Karnataka and a guy said installation is not possible today it will be possible only on Monday 06-Jun-2022. We tried to convince them to some how arrange it but he said, "SUNDAYS INSTALATION IS NOT AVILABLE ON ANY PLACE" Because of their stupidity I had to take a leave from office on MONDAY (06-Jun-2022) for TV Installation 1. Sundays installation is not available and even store is CLOSED 2. Since store representative want to sell the TV, she gave fake commitment 3. Store representative wanted to save delivery charges, so she asked us to take the TV on 04-Jun-2022, as store is closed on 05-Jun-2022 and delivery will not be possible and gave fake promise of Installation on Sunday. 4. Not sure who are the other people spoke to us, had no manners of speaking. They were very rude on calls 5. They could have genuinely said us, "only Monday we can provide installation" We would have arranged a proper planed leave or Work From Home 6. Cause of the store people greediness we ended up paying Rs.500 for delivery, a full day wasted waiting for them, took unplanned leave, and lots of Bombardment from Manager for taking leave on Monday. Conclusion : Never buy TV from this store, irresponsible people, no proper response, fake promises, not many payment options or EMI options. You will end up thinking why I have bought TV from this store. It will be always better to purchase from Amazon, at least Amazon will take the responsibilities of the issues we face.

If you are looking for a Vu tv, then this store is a very good option. I had a nice sales and installation experience thanks to Sales Manager Rahul at the Velachery store. TV was installed within 24 hours. Advantage of buying from the store instead of Flipkart etc is that we get a 3 year comprehensive warranty from the company, which is worth the small difference in price. Vu TV performance also is among the best in the affordable segment.
