Victory Cafe

Was excited to try brunch at Victory and ended up having the worst dining experience I've ever encountered. I ordered the the benedict with salmon and was completely ripped off. The photos on the left are what was served. The photo on the right is how the plate should have arrived. When I mentioned this to the server he insisted it was my fault because I asked to have the Salmon benedict on the croissant instead of a bagel. Despite missing an entire salad and a very sad portion of smoked salmon, we were still charged full price for the meal and there was never an offer to re-make my meal. By far the worst experience and service I've ever had.

I came out for a summer Sunday brunch event they are hosting summer long. (Great work Anthony!) Fantastic entertainment, location, vibe and food. I will come back over and over for sure!! I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and Green Owl vodka Lemonade.

Great place with a nice sunny patio. Very reasonable prices and super delicious, loaded, pulled pork fries. Perfect spot for hangouts and catchups. The plate was massive, 2 people to pick at, or 1 person meal👍

This is my go-to place when I have friends and family visiting me in Toronto. They have a good variety of items on their menu so there’s something for everyone, they also have a wide variety of pizza’s and pizza sauces. But my personal favourite part about Victory is their outstanding drink menu, they always have a wide variety of good draft beers ranging from delicious fruity sours to hearty stouts and hoppy IPA’s. Their beers always pour fresh with good heads so you can tell they keep good maintenance on their taps. They also have a decent selection of wine, although I am personally not a wine drinker so I can’t speak to the quality, but if they put half as much care into their wine as they do their Beers you should be in for a pleasant surprised when you go to Victory. The servers are friendly and I’ve personally never had a bad experience with any of them. the wait time can be quite long, especially if you are in a small group of people, but it’s understandable as Victory is often quite busy. If you’re visiting in the summer and have bee allergies, I would strongly suggest against dining on the patio as there seems to always be a plethora of belligerent bees that like to harass the customers.

Loved their cozy interior and awesome beer list. Staff were very friendly and the pizza was top-notch, having a selection of white and red with vegetarian options. We got the spicy chicken and butcher pizzas, and had some left over to take home. Highly recommended!
