Absolutely delicious, great service, great menu, good prices, nice location just off the river, plenty of outdoor seating, would highly recommend if you're looking for a decent meal when traveling between Dublin and Galway 🍣

What a little nugget of perfectness down at the shannon..the food is outstanding. The staff are amazing. Relaxed atmosphere to pop into or order take away and even take your furry friend.. onwards and upwards guys!

Food, top notch, atmosphere right up there. service top class. Ordered the platter to get a feel of a little of everything. The food was so nice. Highly recommended. The owner is amazing. Clearly cares about his customers.

AVOID if you have an allergy or special dietary requirements. I’ve been going to this place since it opened. I love sushi and enjoyed going here. I am vegan and they (appeared) to have good vegan options, including fried tofu in the sushi and poke bowels and seaweed fries. I always stated that I was vegan, and described what this meant to avoid any misunderstanding. I was advised of the vegan options and chose these. Today, I asked a member of staff whether the gyoza were vegan and she informed me that they were cooked in the same oil as the fish. I asked about the seaweed fries seeing as I ordered them often and she told me that they were fried in the same oil as the fish too 🤢 I felt sick knowing that I had eaten this multiple times in the past. I am a strict vegan and whilst I understand that not everyone sees animals the way I do, it absolutely disgusts me knowing that I unwillingly ate chips that had been fried in the same oil as fish (therefore the fish would have mixed into the chips). I told the staff member that I had been told in the past that these chips were vegan and I was horrified to find out that they were not. It transpired that the tofu, which I had also eaten before, was also fried in the same oil as the fish. Even more concerning, the tofu sushi and the tofu poke bowl are advertised as being ‘vegan’. This amounts to false advertising. This is a very serious issue not just for vegans but for people with fish allergies. I must reiterate that I had told the staff I was vegan every time I had ordered and was told that these food items were also vegan. I am appalled to discover that after over a year of eating here I had actually been consuming non-vegan products. I am so disgusted.

10/10 Fried Tuna Poke Bowl - huge portion and so fresh and delicious - a rare find while staying the night in Athlone - if this was a big restaurant it would be packed instead it’s quirky and small and delighted to of went there. Miso Soup portion also huge - the value for money you get here is rare!
