Worse company ever. Never and I mean Never rent from them. They lie and allow maintenance and city inspection to come into your house without notice and then lie that they called. Since they took over I couldn’t stand being there . Mike has worse customer service ever . Horrible. I would give 0 starts if it’s possible. They are rude , disrespectful and will make your life living hell.

Top Shelf Property Management

If you are a contractor beware! Top Shelf contacted my business because they had a property they needed my help with. AFTER, signing my estimate, I was told I needed to enroll in their online portal. Which I did figuring it would be a way for me to provide them with my COI and W-9, which is common practice. However, once enrolled I began to get multiple emails a day wanting me to contact THEIR tenants to schedule times for me to provide inspections/treatments. Also, I could not just email my estimates they needed me to upload them into their portal for them. When I told Mike I would not do business this way and would not use their portal he hung up on me. Mike then texted me and said to cancel the job that I had a signed contract on was scheduled for the next business day. Because Mike got his feelings hurt this tenant will have to wait longer to get their issue resolved.
Top Shelf is the best in the business. Have now had them managing my properties for 5 years and wouldn’t use anyone else. Informed, responsive, and personable. Great team overall top to bottom.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with top shelf as a contractor for years. They coordinate everything in a timely fashion and have made working with them a breeze. The team there is super kind as well and is always willing to help.
I really wish the people at this company would respond to inquiries. I suppose I should take it as a sign. I've left voice messages for Melissa, e mailed Mike and sent messages on Zillow numerous of times. The only person I've ever spoke to of this company is Steve, the maintenance person and that's only because I just so happen to run in-to while doing a self showing, which both he had to assist me with when it came to the box-locks. The crazy part is Top Shelf has numerous properties on Zillow saying available but it seems impossible to get a hold of anyone if you are interested. There are times when there is a listing for a property for a certain amount of days and then you'll see the same property listed again saying they just posted it. It's unfortunate, I've never seen a whole team just simply not communicate with applicants at all. This is my feedback during this experience. Thank you.
