- nice terrace — - off the highway and therefore noisy at night - noise proofing is poor- you hear rooms above - bar closes at 9 - reception is often left unattended - incredibly inflexible (charged us $75 dollars for a 20 min late check out, without even giving us a heads up they would do this). We had also gone by the reception earlier precisely to check out and no one was there.

Location — Dark room on highway side but staff made up for it and great sleep

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, and the staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby. The rooftop bar was definitely the highlight! the atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, and the view was stunning, I could sit and watch the surfers for hours. — The only downside was that the room was quite dark and didn't get much natural light. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

El personal es amable, es limpio y es bonito — La ubicación al borde de la carretera . Es cómoda por que solo se pasa la avenida y está la playa , pero hay mucho ruin de los carros .

😀 - Charming, with beachy California vibes. Loved the aesthetic, took lots of photos. The Rooftop Deck is such a bonus — coffee in the morning, free cocktails in the afternoon, and delicious, imaginative farm to table dinner choices. Zach and Merrick (bartenders) deserve a special mention for setting the bar high (pun intended). Sophie @ reception as well. The housekeeping staff is so friendly and kind, always a smile on their faces. We were so sad to leave! 😞 - On PCH, so if you have trouble w street noise (including the inevitable sports cars speeding by at 2AM), then you might avoid. Don’t imagine listening to the waves, bc the traffic won’t let you. Despite all that, we slept well and loved this property.

😀 - cooles Konzept 😞 - extrem laut rund um die Uhr. Kein Schallschutz obwohl es einer der meistbefahrendsten Straße liegt.

😀 - The rooms are clean and the bath is relatively good . 😞 - 1- It was a challenge to find anyone at the reception . 2- The hotel has supposedly a bar restaurant that they advertise it is for hotel guests only . I go to the bar at 6:30 pm . They would not serve me because they claimed they have a private function and asked me to come back later !! 3- The rooms are adjacent to the parking and are noisy . Overall I don’t recommend this place. Despite the redecoration and cleanliness , it is still a cheap motel but at 4 times the price .

😀 - I just love this place and the retroness of it. The rooftop is my favorite place and Zach, the bartender/barista whatever is needed guy, is the man to talk to about Malibu. 😞 - Loved everything. Although I wouldn’t mind a coffee or espresso machine in the room.

Awesome walking distance anywhere you want to go good parking staff are wonderful

Had dinner with friends at salt and pepper. Food was very nice with a wide range of choices and attentive services by huy, vy, mai, nhung. Thanks alot for the experience.
