My first time dining at The Rusty Plough & I’ll definitely be back. I had the slow cooked beef cheeks… the portion size of my meal was very generous, both the meat with the accompanying veggies were so well cooked & super delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable, hearty dish on a cold night. Looking forward to going back & trying out more of their menu.

Absolutely fantastic! Our waitress was efficient and polite but the most enjoyable part of the experience was the meal. I've had plenty of steaks to compare it to but the scotch fillet off the menu would top the lot. The jus was exquisite and the subtle flavours of every element on the plate was simply divine. I can't speak for my companions but as far as I could tell everyone enjoyed themselves. Congratulations team it's a definite improvement from the previous owners.

Tried this place for the first time and needless to say I'll be back. Great value for money, the food was delicious from the giant chicken wings, perfectly cooked steak, and massive ploughmans supper. Nice range of craft beers supporting a lot of local brewers, service was top notch and super friendly. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and I'm looking forward to trying out the beer garden when summer returns.

A lovely dining experience. Our group enjoyed their generous and very tasty well presented meals. Great service from smiling pleasant staff. We will be back in the future.
