I missed my flight and this was one of the closest hotels to the airport. It was a great pick because the skyline was beautiful. It was 4th of July and I got to see all the amazing fireworks. The gym was fully loaded and the food was great.

The Pilot House restaurant on the sixth floor of the Wyndham Garden Hotel at Miami international Airport is indescribable in it's perfection. They have a happy hour between 5 PM and 7 PM weekdays on the big outdoor balcony overlooking the Miami international airport. Beatrize Loffiego is the Food & Beverage Manager of the entire Wyndham Garden Hotel MIA, yet takes GREAT PLEASURE in managing the Happy Hour staff & SUPERB Chef de Cuisine who keeps the Very Reasonably Happy Hour appetizers flowing. Despite being quite busy between five and seven on weekdays when all cocktails are six dollars and excellent imported beer is five dollars and the chefs creations which are fantastic are typically six dollars do not miss the barbecued ribs with homemade barbecue sauce, and sesame seeds, serve so hot you cannot touch them, for the amazing price of six dollars. The french fries are very inexpensive, but be careful, no matter how busy the happy hour crowd is ordering the delicious great food and LARGE $6 drinks, the wonderful staff, supervised by Ms. Loffiego keeps everyone happy. Both my Mojito (big glass FULL of mint & lemon & lots of alcohol) and later my choice of their list of six dollars margaritas, perfectly complemented by my boiling hot french fries. WOW!!! it's never like this in California or Texas. I cannot recommend the pilot House restaurant, or Wyndham Gardens, Miami international Airport Hotel, highly enough. If you are very lucky, the amazing food and beverage manager, Beatrize Loffiego will be on duty - but certainly she does not need to be biggest her wonderful staff and exceptional Chef de Cuisine will keep the food & drinks coming. The top best beers available in Florida have happy hour or five dollars and the regular swill is not available here at all and they have some domestic pills for four dollars, but why help that would be good cocktail that would cost you $20 any place in the world, here place is big for six dollars. It is the traveling airline captains mystery. Thank you Wyndham Garden Hotel, especially, the extraordinary food and beverage manager, Beatrize Loffiego and her exceptional chef. Without the Dell over the years, I have left reviews, I've never left to review anything like this because I've never been any place. This good and as inexpensive is going out for a cheap meal at a poor restaurant. My thanks to everybody involved exclamation

Stayed at the Wyndam Garden Miami airport after our cruise and tried the restaurant upstairs. They have amazing food. We had both lunch and dinner here. Loved everything we tried.

Pros - Nice views. Good service. Cons - Food πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ β€œCreamy onion soup” was pure water. Baby back ribs were cold. Sirloin was asked medium, was received Welldone. Key lime was dry and old. Chocolate cake was a mouse not a cake. Food looked good but not was tasty at all.

A nicer place to visit while you are staying at the Wyndham. It is in a weird location (6th floor of the hotel) but for good reason as you have a great view of the skyline of the city as well as a great view of the Miami Airport and the planes taking off. There is am outdoor patio you can eat at as well. As far as the environment, everything is clean and fresh. The food is tasty. Expensive for the portion sizes you get. The fish dip was $14.00 and the rest of the food wasn't much cheaper for smaller portion sizes. But, again, it was tasty. Our server for the evening was fine and kept things moving.
