Buffet breakfast nice — Everything good

THE KOORALBYN VALLEY
Claimed930 reviews
Generous beds — Unusual bath room layout. Prefer walk in showers. The whole place has seen better days. Needs substantial maintenance in the building and the grounds. Sad to see what it must have been once.
The views, the pool area, the golf course, the scenery, the buffet breakfast and the chill atmosphere — The room and facilities were a bit outdated.
My family and I...consisting of 3 teenagers who none of us play golf...stayed here and it was just lovely. The peace and relaxation was what I was after and not only did I get to experience that but I found the place to be wonderful ...from breakfast to swimming in the heated pool [its winter] to exploring the thrifth shop and community areas. The rooms are so lovely. The place has so much to offer and the potential for more ✨️ My children 13, 13 and 16 will be back again with myself. They just loved the quietness and ping pong from the gaming room and the swimming facilities the best oh and food lol. All the staff are lovely and professional from reception to kitchen and restaurant to room service and all credit to the wonderful cleaners. We loved the fish and chip shop and the pavillion too. We all love tennis so now we know theres courts across from the pavillion we will come back and play. Watching the kangaroos and birds was just lovely and gave us a laugh. My daughter who is 16 choose to stay gaming alot in the room but still loved the room and the experience. I could trust my teen children all 3 of them were safe there to walk around by themselves. Lovely atmosphere. There was minture golf available to be played at the pavillion too and lawn bowls. Next time we want to do a sunset golf buggy tour ! We will be back when I can afford it as a single mum. Our little family and I decided that once to the beach a year and once to the country a year for vacation and kooralbyn wins for country...thankyou so much for having us. We will return! So much potential for this resort to be even better with time like it once was. It offers everything country with their bush setting and bush storytelling through country experiences they act out upon request. Professional place for professionals for business related trips. Great for everyone really my 91 year old grandmother was going to come stay on the lower level as she could access it with a wheelie walker. — The bin in the bedroom was slightly dirty when I removed one can of trash to replace the bag I noticed. No big deal. I also thought some of the games in the gaming room were faulty and it was disappointing for the kids like a teaser. We would have liked more machines to be working. I dont like the high rate of a late check out..half the room price is pretty high for a late check out. I also feel the rooms really need microwaves you would attract more parents of infants and its more affordable then for people struggling like myself and little family to buy food to reheat in bedrooms rather than have to eat out all the time..mainly lunch was the time we all wanted to stay in the room and relax after a swim but we couldn't due to need of food. Some electrical work I noticed looked abjt dodgy too in the game room ....masking tape was used to fix a power point. I know times are hard trust me I know but when it comes to safety is there really a price on that. Rooms could be utilised better would attract more people as a suggestion. Pity the gaming room was moved ...it was good where it was. More fun for thr kids exploring the place...hopefully you do s I something cool downstairs again. I really feel a really really cool water park could be a great way to attract more business rather than golf cause it really is perfect for teens. I have good children and I know they are safe there which is why we will be back. Sorry we love the place completely thats why we gave it a 10 but there always issues with everything that can be resolved 🙂
The property was big, beautiful and the staff were so friendly. My partner and I will definitely be back.
This was our second stay here, and we’ll definitely be back! The accommodation and amenities are great, but it was the staff who really stood out for us. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special shout-out to Tanya, who looked after us for both dinner and breakfast. She was so genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful, and really made our stay that much more enjoyable. We had another lovely stay and would happily recommend this place to others. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Staff are helpful and courteous. — It’s a bit dated. Facilities were once great. However maintenance is needed. You can see progress is being made .
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value and nice views of the hills and golf course. Lots of wildlife bouncing around. Good standard buffet breakfast. Restaurant is only open on weekends but plenty of dinner options nearby. — The place is showing its age, fixtures a bit worn out and dated decor. That said it's all kept clean and functioning.
Location and amenities — The people in the room above us who sat on their balcony until 2am talking and even though we politely asked them to be quiet. They said no.
Great Service and facilities. Lovely area — Didn't stay there longer!
Inclusive breakfast was really good value. All you can eat dinner was really good too. — Bit dated, in need of refurbishment.
We stayed here for the True Grit weekend and basically do every year. The staff are wonderful and very kind and its a nice place to lay your head for the night. — Don't expect newly renovated rooms, we had to move rooms because the spa didn't work. The tap was coming out of the wall, it could definitely use some upkeep. First time we tried the $40 per person buffet and there wasn't much variety. It is freezing even with the temperature control on the hottest setting. You can also hear throughout the building when anyone starts up their hot tub. Say goodbye to any internet connection, even on their own TVs. I'm unsure if the place doesn't make a lot of money or if they just aren't investing back into the facilities.
Tanya at there restaurant — Our room was dirty, other peoples rubbish was still in the bins and under the beds m, No plug for the bath. Tv didn’t work
Location, price and how clean the rooms were. — Lots of activities advertised where no longer available or needed booking before arriving, rooms were a bit old fashioned.
Bed was really comfortable and that was the highlight. View of golf course was nice. — Facilities were very tired. Patch jobs in the bathroom. No air vent in the bathroom to remove moisture. Breakfast offering was basic and well below standard. Coffee machine woeful.
