I moved into the Jerome at the end of 2022 when it had recently been taken over by new management. I have run into SO MANY issues it is unbelievable, not to mention that management is impossible to contact. First of all, the fees are ridiculous, I am forced to pay for cable that I will never use, I pay 75$ to park by the neighboring building, and I pay for "security" but came to find out that the "camera system is down" once my bicycle was stolen. Secondly, the management barely knows what goes on in this building. I think I waited 3 months to get wifi information as well as my water and electric billing set up because they literally did not know how, gave me the wrong information, or just didn't respond. There is no office here so if you have an issue, good luck. You have to GO TO Station 324, about 5-10 minutes away, and hope that they're in the office. And lastly, there is no phone to contact and emails are rarely replied to. If you get locked out or forget your key, LITERALLY good luck because theres no phone number to contact and the most you can do is submit a maintenance request online that won't be seen for a few days. The elevator is now working, but we got absolutely 0 notice of that. I didn't realize until the other day when I saw someone using it... Also, I didn't even know we had a call box and I don't think they even advertise it anymore since they don't have intention of fixing it. And the entrance and stairs constantly smell like weed.... At least I didn't have to pay $90 for wifi and cable for the first month or two!

The Jerome

Without a doubt the worst renting experience I have ever encountered. DO NOT RENT from this management company - Station 324 Apartments who owns the Jerome. The elevator has been down for 6months. The call box to allow deliveries has been broken for months. Management does not answer phone calls during business hours and rarely responds to residents. The common areas often wreak of drugs. The building is not Handicap Accessible. Management should be embarrassed.
I was so excited to live in this building but it has not lived up to its expectations. First, the parking is $125 a month but yet the garage is not secure. My bike was stolen and my car has been gone through. The gate is too easy to jump. Second, the call box broke in September of 2022 and it has still not been fixed as of April of 2023. When I first moved in, I asked if I could get a second key fob, so I could let cat sitters in the building. They said this was impossible. In October, the building got bought and things got even worse. Our monthly bills went up even though no changes were made to our building. Then, the pipes burst on Christmas. My unit had flood damage to the ceiling and walls. It took them almost 3 months to fix the damages in my unit. The contractors told me that because management let the water sit for so long, the mold had spread extensively. I was forced out of my apartment for a week with only $250 given to me for the entire week. Our elevator broke during the flood as well, and apparently it will not be done for another 6 months, so if you're thinking about moving in this summer, you'll be doing it without an elevator! This building is not worth the expensive rent.
UPDATE: Now they are adding trash fee and water fee and camera fees to the monthly bill that aren't in the lease. Something tells me they are probably bankrupt or heading in that direction. Still not answering phones or emails. Elevator won't be fixed until end of summer at least so good luck moving out or in without a working elevator. Key fobs barely work half the time and after-hours is nonexistent. Worst company I've ever leased with by far. Elevator has been down for 2 months and they refuse to answer calls or emails. Trash place and trash management. Zero communication. The apartment looks like a gutted half-way house right now. But at least there are pictures every 12" on the walls and the lobby smells like a vanilla supernova. They also had the gall to raise my rent while the whole building is a dumpster fire. Of course there is communication when they want more money.
As every other review has said, this building has atrocious management. Communication is incredibly rare. The elevator has been out for 2 months, which is understandable due to the freezing weather busting pipes, but they have only just sent out an email to give us an update. Unfortunately, that update is that the elevator will be down for at least 6 more months. Just completely unacceptable. The drywall in the halls has also been torn apart for the past month with no sign of any maintenance being done. Amenities have been stripped away without informing residents. When having a guest come for a weekend, I emailed to ask for a parking pass as that had been the method in the past, however, they told me no longer have guest parking. None of this was communicated to residents and I was only made aware because I was in need of that amenity. The last complaint has to do with the ridiculous parking garage. Spots are quite small and most of them have enormous support columns at the ends of the spaces that make parking next to other vehicles quite difficult. On top of that, there is only one entrance into the parking garage and that is also the exit. Overall, save yourself the hassle of overpaying for an apartment that simply does not care for its residents. I fully expect to get yet another automated response about how much they "understand my disappointment" like they have replied with on the other recent negative reviews.
