Madison was great to work with and the community is very nice. I ultimately decided to go somewhere a little closer to the city, but this community is great for people who want to be within walking distance to everything without the downtown hassle.

Referred a friend to live here, and she explicitly told them I referred her. I called prior to her move in date and they said they were aware of my referral. When she moved in, they reportedly had no record of it and I never received the referral bonus I was assured I would receive. Took them weeks to tell me this. In addition, valet trash service is highly unreliable and costs an additional $40 a month on top of rent. My unit’s fiber optic internet connection does not work - which was advertised as a selling feature when I moved in - the internet service has told me there is no way to fix it, and my rent is the same as a functioning unit. When there is heavy rain, water will leak through my windows. The “covered” and “secure” parking garage has a gate that is often broken and fully open for anyone to enter with zero cameras. It is also not level and not sealed. When it rains my car is drenched in water leaking from above. The package service is located in a separate building and has a three day pickup window after which your credit card is charged a daily fee, and there is no way to suspend the service when you are traveling or out of town. The gym is very small and does not contain a lot of equipment. In the setting of a commercial area, it can be very loud from traffic, people shouting, music from nearby restaurants. Even though I am on the fourth floor, I can hear loud conversations that take place outside. The washer and dryer have no alert noise for when a cycle completes and are very noisy. The office staff is not very approachable, they do not answer phones or return phone calls in a timely manner - it can range from hours to days to talk to someone. In addition, the rent has increased by a few hundred dollars since I have been living here - duration of occupancy does not spare you from the increases or slow it down.
Our most time home is a South Carolina coastal island accessible by ferry with no commercial amenities. It is about logistics. We have kept an apartment as a secondary home in Louisville for the last eight years and it was a beautiful suburban facility. We did this to be near family. Most of our life has however, been in Lexington and with changes in family we were able to return over the past two weeks. We chose THE HENRY as an urban home that is the anthesis of island life. The convenience and access to everything involves a short walk at best. That may have been the first attraction, but the design of our two bedroom apartment was such that we were able to decorate in a way that has truly made it a home in which we may spend more time than ever planned. Desmond and Mark from the maintenance staff have been great in helping us with last minute corrections. The parking availability and moving access to the unit along with the large elevator made move in for our contractor a one day process. At our age we are not planning too many more moves as moving is definitely for younger souls. Many thanks to to administrative staff for helping us locate the perfect unit for our needs and the efficient handling of all of the leasing documentation necessary for our move. Our first impressions are that THE HENRY is a great place to live.
I lived there for 5 years from 2017 to 2021. Beautiful apartments , great management. They fix everything in one day. They are respectful and courteous. The apartments are amazing from inside, new, clean , spacious. High ceilings. The area is very nice to walk around. My balcony was over looking shake shack and the shops. I loved this place so much , this is definitely where you should rent if you live in Lexington. It is worth the money.
I have been living at the Henry for several months after selling my home. Having not lived in apartments in 30+ years I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well The Henry is just great! The office staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. The maintenance staff is great always addressing requests promptly. The cleaning staff is exceptional. Even during the recent snow storms the common areas of the buildings were cleaned promptly! I wholeheartedly recommend The Henry!
