The Grand at 290

Nicole and Mark are truly two amazing people!!!!!!! The venue is breathtaking and they take off alot of stress during the planning of our wedding and the day of!!!!! If you are looking for a venue look no further!!!

If I could give more than a 5 star rating, that’s exactly what I would do! Nicole & Mark are PHENOMENAL. I have worked a ton of weddings as a coordinator for @Brittsbridal and they are by far the most hands on, sweetest, humble, yet very passionate owners. They are the perfect example of how a dedicated business owner represents. Please, look no further if you are searching for a venue, they are TOP NOTCH & amazing to work with! The Grand at 290 was our chosen venue for our wedding day. A dream come true! Mark and Nicole were so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process from our first tour to the big day. They’ve really got it all figured out! My husband and I feel that our wedding was perfect and that could not have been possible without our vendors including Mark and Nicole at The Grand! They are so easy to work with and it seems they truly want to be a part of your big day not because they gain profit but because they want to watch happy couples begin their beautiful lives. If you’re looking for an upscale venue with so much character in sweet old Rocky Mount, VA, do not skip over The Grand!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Grand at 290. The venue was perfect for our event. Nicole and Mark were great to work with. They were very quick to respond to questions and helped us so much during the planning process. The building was beautiful, the decor was on point, and there was a quaint courtyard for family photos and a rooftop for bride/groom portraits. I could not be happier with my experience at The Grand at 290. Highly recommend for weddings and any other special occasion!

Beautiful. The owners have transformed this old store into a beautiful event venue while maintaining the charm and character of the building's time with modern touches such as a hidden elevator.
