I went to Fold Hair Salon based on recommendations from friends and had high hopes. The service itself was good—the staff were friendly and attentive—but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t justify the time or cost. I was at the salon for three hours and left with only half a head of highlights and no haircut. On top of that, being charged an additional 25 Dirhams for a blow-dry felt excessive, especially given the already high cost of the initial services. While I appreciated that they refunded the charge after I pointed out I hadn’t been informed, 25 Dirhams just to have my hair dried (not styled) is hard to justify. While the professionalism was there, I can’t say the experience was worth it, and I won’t be returning.

This is my regular go-to and the hairdressers never disappoint. Service in here is excellent, from start to finish. And, while the cuts and colours are really excellent and the stylists are warm, friendly and effortlessly professional, one of the other things that keeps me coming back is the sense of calm that the salon brings in its decor, all the way down to the tea cups and saucers! Highly recommended, especially if you like a pressure point massage pre-wash to set the tone.

Stephanie is my actual hero 🤩 I visited The Fold today for the very first time with a major hair emergency. I previously went to one of the “best” salons in Dubai where they absolutely ruined my hair color from root to tip and caused so much damage. I read the reviews for The Fold and booked myself in same day. Stephanie looked at my hair, the color, the condition and told me exactly what needed to be done to correct it all. She executed it all to absolute perfection with minimal damage and in record time. I’m beyond impressed with her hair/color expertise and I’m beyond obsessed with my hair I can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. Annoyed I didn’t find The Fold sooner! I’m now a forever client.

I'm so glad that I found this hair salon! I had a haircut with Nathalie. She was confident to give her recommendation, and her cutting style was meticulous. From the arrival until I left, it took 70 minutes. Before they washed my hair, they gave a hair massage and short shoulder massage, too. The space itself is very cozy and styling.
The hair cut was 350 dirhams.
