The worst chicken I have ever tasted. Ordered two chickens and had one bite of the breast and threw them both in the bin what a waste of money,it was as dry as a piece of leather,I think I would of rather eaten the leather. Not the type to complain,but the worst chicken I have ever tasted. I would have given them a way lower score but couldn’t,so one star it is,for there vile chicken
Bit dry and tasteless, very little chicken, hardly any sauce. Disappointing for $12.50. If I wasn’t starving I’d have returned this. Edible but not enjoyable.
The charcoal chicken is extremely tasteful and simply love the garlic dip! My kids also love the food there, especially the Gozleme and special collection of juices 😀 The servings are generous and the customer service is delightful! Highly recommend for casual dinner outing or takeaway ☺️
We thought we would give this place a chance. Ordered via Uber and what we received was very disappointing. Snack Box - photo has garlic and chilli. What we received was bbq sauce and garlic. No salt and the beef is chunky, not shaved and the texture is like eating what I would imagine fake meat would taste like Kebab - a little garlic sauce and no other sauce. Once again beef is chunky and not the texture is really off putting Half a chicken - really disappointed with this. The chicken looks like it was oven roasted and nothing like a charcoal chicken. The breast quarter was not eatable as it was dry and the skin was tough. The only good take away from this was the garlic sauce. It was going to be a one star, but the garlic sauce was good. If considering eating from here I would advise not to use Uber eats as the app has no options to select the sauces or other options.
Was so excited to see a charcoal chicken shop in Hornsby. Unfortunately the chicken is average. Just does not live up to the standards of any famous charcoal chicken franchises. The garlic dip isnt up to scratch either. Nice staff and the guy at the counter handled a high pressure situation well - the counter glass broke and he was calm with all customers and handled the situation well. Like Andy says, will give this another go just hoping they up their game. My chicken was fresh from the grill but just not good enough
