I had a great experience with this group. From the time I had my consultation to the time I was assigned an attorney, with all the up and downs of my very unique divorce case , Matt Guthrie managed to pull through and did an excellent job doing so !! He was very pleasant to work with and very mindful of my finances too! I am so happy with my results !!
I've learned through my experience with Colwell that big law firms are not necessarily the way to go. Client relations people are wonderful but there was a huge disconnect (lack of concern/compassion for family emergency) with both attorneys I spoke with. I paid my retainer within 24 hrs. Several days pass and I finally hear from my assigned attorney to go over my family's crisis. I heard nothing from my attorney for several days after and was then contacted for more money. OK, take all my money, its yours, but please act swiftly. Two weeks pass as a "client" of Colwell before I give up and find another attorney willing to act with the urgency my family desperately needs. Colwell assured me my refund would be processed 6 days ago. Luckily , I've learned enough in my short time as a client to follow-up and sure enough, they never got around to processing it. If you're keeping track, that's 3 weeks of no actual representation despite being the most expensive and highly rated firm. Thanks a lot Colwell.
Marissa Winch was a godsend on my behalf dealing with a child custody case. Her professionalism couldn't be beat throughout this process. She was constantly in contact with me and was always available to take my calls. Couldn't have ask for a better attorney to represent me. Thank you Marissa!

I went to the Colwell Law Group to find an Attorney for my divorce. I feel very fortunate, to have found Attorney, Marissa Gordon. For the last 10 months I have gone through a horrible divorce, which has been the worst experience of my life. Marissa has been one of the few positives during this horrendous ordeal. Anytime I had a question via phone, email or had to meet in person, Marissa would get back to me very quickly or be willing to meet with me ASAP if needed.
