The Calaveras

we have been here for a month and a half and the customer service has been amazing. the ladies in the office along with Mike in maintenance here have been so kind and incredibly helpful. We moved from out of state and they made the process so easy and stress free for us. The people in our apartment complex have also been incredibly kind and welcoming. Needless to say we are more than happy with the decision of moving here. Update: we recently had a major financial issue due to an injury sherry and riley were amazing at helping us out through our struggles. thank you so much for everything your doing and a great appreciation to the grounds keeper you are a rock star. i cant express enough how happy we are with the staff here Update for our previous review: we have been here for about a year now and the calavares still seems to amaze us! Management did a last pool day party allowing the dogs to come out to the pool. Sherry and Riley, you ladies really do go above and beyond! Duncan had such an amazing time at the party and we do appreciate everything you do!

Me and my girlfriend moved in and there were some issues. Some of which were taken care of, others were more complicated. Given the age of the apartments there will be certain problems to be expected. Given all of that, I have the utmost confidence in the office. Sheri and Riley (I hope I'm spelling their names right) are amazing people and were very, caring, empathetic, and helpful. They did everything in their power to make things right.

I feel like this is a great place to live. We just renewed our lease and so glad we did. Office and maintenance staff are friendly and get things done in a timely manner. Neighbors are nice and mostly keep to themselves. Definitely see myself staying for a while. -117

Do yourselves a favor and go else where. When I applied the add said rent 895$ but we end up paying around 1,300 and that doesn’t include Dominion energy or Rocky Mountain so add another $150. Don’t waste your time if you are looking to pay less than 1,000 here at LEAST. Bedroom and bathroom doors don’t have locks. Cigarette butts and pet waste everywhere outside.

New Maintenance really stepped up since September getting thing done quickly. Sadly these apartments are old and cheap. The longer you stay the more aware you become , they completely painted over the dry wall the previous occupants had glow in the dark stars on the ceiling , Calaveras completely painted over the whole ceiling instead of taking it off. Cabinets are built from extremely cheap wood so the hinge would not stay attached to the cabinets. Really bad cabinets cheap and breaking. The oven only has two working burners. Bathroom door lock does not work. The whole ceiling creeks and you can hear the occupants upstairs, from when they are home when they flush the toilet everything! Really bad cheap dirt renovation job just terrible. Management has changed but it’s not gonna change cheap labor and cheap renovations. Really bad drywall install there gaps behind outlet covers creeks every where you walk. The longer your stay the more broken throng you discover.
