My child started working at Sylvan drastically behind his classmates. He was asked to be retained. We did not and Sylvan was able to help us catch him up in one years time. He loves school and enjoys coming each week.

My son started Sylvan not enjoying school, not wanting to go to school, and overall a poor attitude about school. Within weeks I could see his demeanor change when he talked about school. He is more confident and enjoys going to tutoring sessions each week. We have also seen an improvement in his reading.

My son is not a fan of school so the fact that he doesn’t mind going to Sylvan is a win! I can log in and see his progress which is big for me. He likes the teachers and they can earn prizes which is good for his motivation. The communication with parents is great and I love that they have an individualized plan just for what my son needs. My son has a little catching up to do in reading and I love that I know where he is and where he needs to be and that Sylvan has a plan to get him there. I didn’t have that with other tudors.

Sylvan has been wonderful for our child! Exceeded our expectation. My child has never once said he didn’t want to go. They do such a great job making learning fun. And he has grown so much!

My daughter has been attending this location since June 7 of this year. She’s beginning her 4th grade school year this Fall. I must say, even though it hasn’t been leaps and bounds of improvement in her math skills in this short amount of time, I have noticed improvement. She does more mental math at home now when we talk of the cost of something and she’s surprisingly close if not correct! For that, I am grateful. It means there’s hope and she’s on her way to becoming a stronger more confident mathematician! We will continue the duration of her lessons according to the Sylvan Progress Path and see where we end up!
