I had Beckett and Lochie come and service our magnesium pool and give me a run through on how to maintain the pool and the filtration system. They were fantastic, Beckett was a very patient young man who took his time showing and explaining everything to me. We already use Swimmart Enoggera and will continue while they are open. Best customer service I have had in a very very long time, thankyou guys.

I recommend them for water testing or buying salt and similar supplies, as their customer service in-store is generally good. However, for an inexperienced pool owner like myself, caution is necessary. I hope others in a similar situation find this review helpful. As a first-time pool owner, I visited their shop and asked them to come out and guide us on what needed to be done. Over the following weeks, I made several phone calls and visits to remind them that our pool needed attention and that a technician should be sent. After a considerable delay, R finally visited. He was friendly and advised us on basic matters, such as maintaining the correct water level. As he was leaving, I asked him to check the pump, as it had become louder since I initially requested the visit. He said he would send it to the workshop for repair. After a week without any update, I followed up, explaining that the pool was deteriorating without a working pump and asking when it would be returned. Later, they emailed to say the pump was unrepairable and gave me two options: purchase a similar new pump from them for $2k, a lower model for $1k, or pay a quote fee to have my original pump returned. After a few phone calls to raise my concerns, I reluctantly agreed to buy a new pump. From that point on, their attitude changed noticeably and became quite unfriendly. A technician, T, came to install the new pump and was rude throughout the visit. I also reminded them that they had previously promised to bring Therolux minerals month earlier. Eventually, R returned to add it, but this time he was also unfriendly. They never returned my original pump, which was only one year old and, aside from being slightly louder than usual, was still functioning. I take responsibility for what was ultimately a costly $2,000 mistake. I hope that by sharing this experience, others can avoid finding themselves in a similar situation.

This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. I have had ongoing issues with the pool lining deteriorating. Service staff have visited and taken photos, but in my experience, there hasn’t been consistent follow-up or documentation on these concerns. Chemicals continue to be added and invoices issued, but I expected clearer communication about the pool’s condition and guidance on addressing underlying issues. Based on my experience, I have found the customer care to be unsatisfactory. Response to Owner’s comment: I respectfully disagree with some points in your response. During our discussions, I was advised that there may be limitations on commenting about the pool surface issues. I am happy to provide further clarification to anyone who contacts me personally.

Hi John, As we have discussed over the last week, you advised your pool was built and left for 3-4 months whilst the house was built. As you know, this is not recommended as the surface is at it’s most vulnerable during early curing stage. You mentioned that the builder has already performed a repair to your pebble surface previously. There are lesions and calcium scale as well as a rust stain that is leaching through from the rebar. Since your first service 6 months ago, you engaged us to perform a monthly filtration service, test and balance. During our first service in April 2025, the technician recommended you get in touch with your builder to discuss issues with the surface that you two discussed then. I know you have spoken with the technicians at a few other services about the surface. I am unsure what more you are after from us as we are unable to provide reports retrospectively to support a claim against a third party.
