Swimart Balwyn

It’s a pity that we can only give 5 stars max, the team at Balwyn deserve 10 at least!!! Chris and his team spent hours with us on the phone to Japan and helping my daughter and I (who are totally ignorant of makes/models or even what we were looking for!) navigate purchasing a pump and chlorinator etc etc; and explaining how to set it all up … and then packaging it for us to post!! The service was totally above and beyond!! 10 stars and a HUGE thank you! Penny & Emmie

Very good service and maintenance of my pool cleaner

Clear summary of instructions, good advice on other solutions and lots of detail in emailed analysis.

Pool was a bit green, tested water and received email with simple instructions on how to treat pool with 3- 4 chemicals and all cleared up and back in good order with 12 hours.,

Excellent service and helpful

BEWARE - These guys do not deserve your patronage Please read my complaint plus all the other complaints on here. They are right – this place has demonstrated incompetence and has a bad attitude. Not only did they mess up the piping installation at my place they failed to accept responsibility and I had to pay others to fix up. Make your own decision based on the following.... Swimart’s requirement to check the piping mark-up was clearly stated in emails to them eg “ ... please check -and let me know if any issues” The picture shows how it was actually marked up by me before Swimart cut them off. The pool and spa drain both required checking as had “?” clearly shown. The end result was after their work we couldn’t drain anything. All wrong as the pool was meant to be plugged and blanked (as per the regulations) and the spa drain operational. Chris said Swimart were experts but they couldn’t identify the issue – they thought it was a blockage in the spa drain? I had to get others in to identify and fix. The problem was the pool was plugged but the spa was blanked off! When I approached Chris at Swimart with the issue and conclusive evidence (eg the picture, a report, emails etc) he denied any liability. Make your own conclusion.

Found the store overpriced for some items and pricey services.

Having received little help and poor advice from a different pool supplier we went to Swimart in Balwyn. Chris was amazing with his knowledge and was super helpful. He wasn't a pushy sales guy at all but genuinely wanted to provide a solution for us with our broken robotic pool cleaner. Whilst we were there several other customers came in and all received the same high level of service that we did. If you are looking for a pools supply business then go to Swimart in Balwyn. They are worth going out of your way for and they have just got a new regular customer ! Thanks very much Chris and the team.
