This weekend was the first time I sat on mortorcycle. Thanks to the best instructor Rafael - after 2 days training I'm able not only sit on the motorcycle but have physical and mental skills to ride safely! The course was informative, clear and enjoyable.
Can't say enough great things about Sunshine Motorcycle Training. Brian was our MSF instructor and he was awesome! He was full of great safety tips, both hypothetical and past experiences, to help us be as safe as we can be when driving our bikes. Thanks for making the course fun/safe and helping us all gain basic skills and confidence to ride a motorcycle! 10/10 recommend this class from Sunstate! Very informative and helpful intro into motorcycling, and will continue to investment in the training they provide. Can't wait for BRC2. Thank you Brian!
After riding for years with no motorcycle endorsement, I received a letter from the State of Florida. And I must say it was a very stern warning. I then began to search for training. I chose Sunstate because of their hours of availability. Their classes was perfect for my schedule. I must admit it was a great experience. What made it such a great experience was the instructor, Rafael Vega. He truly made the experience less intimidating. He kept the class moving in the right direction. His level of knowledge was above and beyond. I'm sure we tested his patience all day🤣🤣🤣, but he was cooler than the other side of the pillow...He is truly an asset to Sunstate, and he should be applauded for doing such a great job. I highly recommend Sunstate for all of your training needs.
TLDR; A big thumbs up. This is a great place to get your motorcycle training even if you have 40 years experience like me, you'll still learn something if you want to know why, keep reading. So I figured I would just whiz through this course and not really learn that much since I have been riding a long time, but I ended up learning some things about about my game that I could improve, especially when it comes to slow moving activities. Brian is just the best and most patient coach you could ever imagine. He was really helping the inexperienced guys that were struggling and he does it with such compassion and never makes anybody feel bad about themselves or messing up. He even had to work with a student and ask them to cease the training for their own safety and everyone else and he did it in such a kind and caring demeanor and empathetically. That was very impressive and I certainly admire him for that as well. Additionally, Brent was doing part of our training. He's very knowledgeable as well. Very straightforward in his training approach and he will not fail to call you out every single time, which is a good thing because coming from a sports and acting background. If my coach or my director didn't have any notes or criticisms for me, I knew that he didn't care about me or didn't think that I was worth bothering with. So this is definitely a compliment. To sum it up, it was hard but fun. Met a bunch of great guys. Super hot but no big deal. All worth it in the end. Good luck attending your next course with Sun State Motorcycle Training! You will be a much better motorcycle rider as a result
