Was so excited to go to Totti's for dinner, food was pretty good but honestly service almost laughably shocking. Genuinely from the moment me and my wife walked in the hostess and staff were in complete disarray. Had a reservation was then told to just wait for a little bit as table was getting ready. Had absolutely no problem with this but then we were stood around for over 25 mins and then went to check in for an update and the hostess basically said 'oh sorry yes you're table is ready'. Would have probably been stood there all night if hadn't asked again. Then once we sat down service was just shocking, it felt like it was the restaurants first night opening. Also the lamb ragu we ordered arrived cold. Complete disorganization. Overhyped do not go.

travelled to Sydney and been wanting to try this place. saw it on one of the travel videos on youtube. i must say that it did not disappoint. there was a line to get in because we were not able to make a reservation but they do accept walk ins. the service was really good. we got the famous flat bread which was amazing. the food were fresh and tasty.
Italian in Bondi. — Had a great Italian feast with friends. The service is very good and the food as good. A great vibe in Bondi.
There's a reason Totti's is such a staple in Sydney. From the fresh ingredients and offerings, to the great service and the overall great vibes, Totti's is not to be missed. The homemade pasta melts in your mouth and is perfect for sharing. The starters are so plentiful, there's something for everyone. It's overall such a delicious experience and not to be missed when visiting and traveling to Sydney. Accompany your meal with some wine and finish off with the ice cream sandwiches. It's the perfect meal from start to finish!
Absolute best Italian!!! Fresh breads, pastas, salads, steaks and appetizers. The house made pastas are the fantastic!!! So much to choose from and all amazing!!!! Friendly staff. Reservations highly recommended!! Can sit inside or out!! Save room for dessert!! All so yummy!!!!
Family meal — Very popular venue, but very expensive, holiday surcharge 15% plus cc surcharge, large glass of wine 24. Very nice but be orepared for the high cost
Pretentious and overrated. — The atmosphere and ambience was lovely. Sat outside the inside is very noisy and crowded. The food was very average and expensive . Wood fired fish did not have much flavour and was quite rubbery. Salad with butter lettuce and nectarines very small and not much flavour either. The bread was the best part of the meal. Overall I think it is vey pretentious and the in place to go but I wouldn’t go again. When you look on the website it says fully booked so you think it must be good. When we went st 8pm there were many empty tables!
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. after making a reservation and waiting nearby for another 1/2 hour. we finally got a table. had 4 different servers because not a single one assigned to help us. ordered drinks appetizer and 2 entrees. appetizer came out. still no drinks. 40 minutes later we got drinks. they bring the entrees and leave the dirty dishes. servers were clueless, food was mediocre and service horrendous. spend your money elsewhere and avoid this place.
Good food and service — We were on the first day eating open and we liked it, qualified staff, the recommendation of wine by owner I think great Food very good with large quantity We booked earlier, there's usually a queue but it's fast
One of the best restaurants in this area — Lovely Italian restaurant close to Bondi beach, with a great vibe, serving delicious food. Most of the dishes are perfect for sharing and a great way to try new dishes when in a group. Our party had the bread, burrata, tomatoes, ricotta, salami and prosciutto, all of which were delicious. A selection of mains consisted of the ribeye steak, several pasta dishes, roast potatoes and fries. Every dish was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with tiramisu, chocolate torte and the Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches. Wines and cocktails were also excellent. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney but book well in advance as it can be difficult to get a reservation. Highly recommended.
Lovely Vibe, Delicious Food — Really nice place with good Italian food. The vibe is lovely, especially outside, though it does feel a bit posh. The only downside was that we were seated inside, which was very noisy and made it difficult to have a proper conversation.
Overshadowed by service — Unfortunately our experience was overshadowed by our terrible waitress. She had a long dark ponytail and was rude right from the start. She didn't explain the menu or offer any recommendations. She didn't take our drink order and instead looked over at our table then proceeded to talk casually to the other staff and didnt seem like she wanted to do her job. We had to flag another staff member to order drinks and food. No one came to ask if we wanted another cocktail and my husband was wanting to order some wine with the mains but no one asked or checked on us so we didn't bother. The price was very expensive for what it was. Entrees were delicious but main was very average. We got the chicken which I would not recommend, too plain. What a real shame because the patio area was so lovely and it was nice to sit there having a drink but the cocktail I had was very average and the server was just atrocious and she should not be in customer service. This place needs to think about the service delivery and change things up because whatever system they have is not working.
terrible service — The food at Tottis never fails and as locals we have been plenty of times. Unfortunately pretty much every time we go, and especially in Bondi the service is verging on horrendous. I have never experienced such rude and dismissive service- and to top it off when they came over to take our bill payment they handed us the card machine charging double what the bill was (if we hadn't have been paying attention to it we would have just paid this unknowingly). When we pointed it out to the server she just said "oh" and then changed it- no apology or any sort of explanation- was pretty suss and we left feeling like they were trying to chance it with us! Really tainted our experience of Tottis as, like I said- the food never fails!
I really enjoyed Totti's during my trip to Sydney. The waiter and waitress were attentive and the outdoor patio was just a vibe. But what was really lovely was the antipasti, with the wood-fired bread that is puffed up, the fresh tomatoes and burrata, and the delicious crudo and prosciutto. Tearing the bread, wrapping the ingredients, and then dipping it in the burrata was so fun and delightful. Quite a simple set up really, but it was definitely the most memorable meal of the trip!
Good Italian great flatbread — Totti‘s is a good restaraunt for a celebration of something. It is also really good for its flatbread and pasta. Not really convenient for its location but there still is one more Totti’s in the city but that’s always packed. One more thing that I need to rate them down for - there’s a line on the glass and generally I don’t like how they have to be so precise about the wine pouring.
The warm bread is absolutely sensational! The vibes are incredible on the patio. Great service and our pasta dish was amazing as well! I would recommend going with a group so you can try a bunch of things.
One word: flatbread! Have been here for many special occasions. Service is superior.
A hot ticket! If you don't have a booking I would not come. But to the well planned, it's a great fun meal. Amazing energy and a staff that's best in class, the hostess on the street deserves way more than her current salary. Pasta is delicious, overly sauced but perfectly cooked. Seafood is a bit of a gamble. Fun, reasonable and another Merivale success!
Tottis cbd — Great space and staff were superb. The bread, burratta and prosciutto was the best I’ve had in ages and the atmosphere was great
