Great place to dine — Lovely restaraunt in CBD. Great ambience and lovely choice of food and drinks. Had a fabulous and memorable experience. Service was friendly and professional with staff members called Ly and Samantha. Kitchen service was very efficient, and compliments to Calum in the kitchen.

Poor service — Had to beg for service every step of the way. Snotty responses 90% of time. One of the staff was lovely. Food was nice, nothing exceptional. Not sure what the inflated prices were offering. Perhaps just the location, which is great in the bustling laneway. No toilet paper in the loo either.
Client meeting Felix — Recently has a business meeting with clients from China. The location is central to the city and easy to get to from all directions. The food is excellent and I recommend the Pate!! The service is great the prices are worth it.
What a disappointment!! — Well this place has gone downhill. Overpriced and food not up to scratch what a disappointment. It used to be so good but everything was just off. Won't be returning..
The Vibes, The food, The service — Went on a date night here, Wow so good. The service and style of this venue was very classy and made me feel the vibes. Thank you for creating a friendly relaxed dining experience. this place is a must in Sydney.
Brilliant. If I could shut out local accents, I might have believed I was in Paris. — Well worth the wait to get a table, not having booked. This is the most authentically Parisian ambiance I've found in a French restaurant in Australia. An extraordinary welcoming hostess who keeps smiling under pressure. Superb service, magnificent food and wine. The crown of duck may be the best duck meal I've had.
I asked for a wine top up waiter said she'll do it later... — Our recent visit to Felix was good but was marred by disorganisation and tension that made the experience far less enjoyable than expected. We began with oysters, ordering a dozen but receiving only half. This set the tone for an evening that felt somewhat chaotic. The Scotch fillet and minute steak that followed were both beautifully cooked—tender, flavourful, and perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the same standard. When I asked for a top-up of my wine, the waiter said she’d do it later. Eventually, another waiter noticed my empty glass and topped it up, but only after a noticeable wait. Several glasses and dishes were heard smashing on three separate occasions, and the sommelier angrily mopped up spilled water in the wine room in full view of diners. The oyster bar, positioned in the middle of the restaurant in full view of all diners, became another distraction as the waiters shucking oysters were seen arguing with each other. To make matters worse, the chef could be seen arguing with staff in the open kitchen, adding to a noticeably tense atmosphere. Felix served excellent food, but the overall experience was let down by poor service and visible staff friction. For a restaurant with such a strong reputation, guests should feel transported to Paris—not to a scene of behind-the-scenes turmoil.
Absolutely superb! — Thursday lunch while on a day trip to Sydney. Superb from start to finish. The service was friendly without being overly familiar. The food exceptional. Possibly the best tarte tatin I have ever eaten! If I had to find something to fault it would be the atmosphere was very noisy. Others might describe it as lively. Honestly though that is really struggling To find a negative!
Beautiful restaurant for a Special Birthday. — Thank you Felix Restaurant and Luke, the Maitre d , for making our 70th birthday special. Food was amazing and so was the service. Our delicious birthday tarts made the evening. 🥂
Good food, but make sure it's cooked. — The food was good, however, I got really sick from either the chicken Pate or the duck, which was very rare. This ruined my vacation. I will go again, but will insist that they cook my duck better, at least medium.
lovely food and service - just check your bill! — Excellent food and service. Particularly enjoyed the special Toulouse sausage and the beef tartare starter. Staff very helpful. Only negative on leaving was realising we were charged for incorrect wines which added to the bill
A lovely night — We had a lovey night. We booked an outside table and were looked after wonderfully, they did ask us to move just at the start as a big group was coming and that was fine, and we had a great table, and they gave us complementary dessert and kept on thanking us for moving. The service from head waiters plus our server an Italian lady Michaela was spot on, very attentive and provided good meal suggestions. Food was great the duck and snapper fish plus profiteroles were all just perfect. Great atmosphere and this is one of a favorite restaurants we go to for special occasions.
This is a beautiful French restaurant in a great location. The ambience is amazing. Be prepared to linger over your wine and food. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was fabulous. It is a dinner to be savored and enjoyed, rushing would ruin the experience.

Fabulous French Dining! — Superb restaurant! Everything was perfect, service, ambience & food all fabulous. Highly recommend if in Sydney. We had seafood / fish & steaks & it was all delicious. Very friendly & proffesional French staff. Best dining experience in a long time & best in Sydney overall.
Still one of my favorites in Sydney, after not visiting for a while. Love to start with the raw bar, today I had the tiger prawns. They were good but not as large as I had expected. I had the duck confirm as a Amin, it was a special, and it was excellent. Very nice flavor. I was also pleasantly surprised with the side order of greens, wasn't expecting much (just felt needed some leaves) but it was a very nice flavor and quite fresh.

My daughter and son-in-law took us to dinner at Felix. Wine selection and sommelier were outstanding. Service was above par and not intrusive. My Darling Wife had mud crab from the local waters. She was in heaven! It was fresh, sweet and delicious!! My daughter and SIL had steak tartare and thought it was fantastic. Granddaughter had the charcuterie plate and oysters and loved both!! I had the faux filet (sirloin steak) and fries. The sauce made the steak outstanding although cooked to perfection, the sauce enhanced the flavor pushing over the top. The only ding is the restaurant was extremely loud. We could not talk in a loud voice even. I would recommend the experience for the food and service!!
Great French restaurant in centre of Sydney. — We turned up late one evening all other restaurants closed in the CBD but they were open. Very welcoming; the sommelier helped us with the wine choice and food was delicious. It was not cheap, but good value for the quality.
Must visit — Stumbled in by mistake .. had a small wait which we used well at the roof bar. Felix has lively food and super staff .. only ruined by our jet lag Lively atmosphere . Busy and fun .. not for a quiet romance
