Everyone loves a bit of Totti! — Queue around the block for this food. Tapas style plates and everyone a winner. The breads Great, lamb saddle, pork schnitzel. All good, great service.

Love This Place — Love love love this place. The food was FANTASTIC. We each had a pasta dish, and we each raved about them. We also had the house speciality wood fired bread, and it was amazing. The bread comes with a choice of about 10 different spreads and veggies to eat it with- like pickled capsicum, and mozzarella and tomatoes. I chose the pickled capsicum and it was good, however the people at the table next to us had the tomatoes and mozzarella, and it looked better. Bread and 2 pasta dishes was way too much food for the two of us. Next time, and there will be a next time, we will get the bread and share a pasta dish.

You gotta book and i can see why! — Queue around the block for this food. Tapas style plates and everyone a winner. The breads Great, lamb saddle, pork schnitzel. Staff brilliant.

Good food, questionable service! — The wood fired bread was nice but I wouldn’t order it again, the tomatoes were also not really seasoned so were lacking and the new aubergine side was terrible. However, the burrata and vodka pasta and fries were very good as were the cocktails. Our service was fine (not tip worthy, they’re not very attentive at all) but a waitress was very rude to the table next to us which we were quite shocked by. It’s not cheap but it was one of the best meals we had in Sydney and I would revisit for the vodka pasta and the chips!

Lively and funky food in the Merivale precinct in Sydney — 6 of us went for a long lunch. The food was amazing, and the signiture wood fired bread was lovely. The menu is relatively simple but really well prepared and presented. We went for a shared plate option, which gave everybody a taste of everything. The service was excellent and friendly. The venue would not be out of place in cosmopolitan New York. On the down side is was jammed packed (always a good sign) but not a lot of elbow room, and of course it was quite noisy. Perhaps best described as Lively. Be aware its not cheap !

Great atmosphere in this restaurant ... — Came in the evening with friends to my son and after booking, restaurant with a lot of people, difficult to make his way to our table. It's crazy, it moves, it runs, the waiters go from table to table with their dishes. Tapas circulate everywhere , during this time some cut the ham, the cooks do not unemployment and an oven to make the famous bread baked in wood fire (a bit Nan or pita style but swollen ). Plenty to choose from, good quality Italian food. We enjoyed it! — Bread was amazing, no wonder it is so popular. Nice olives and burrata to kick off. Good pasta with plenty of choices. We all enjoyed it. The service might have been better. They were very impatient and one guy turned on his heels as one of our party was slow to decide. But overall it was good.

Good food, little space and very loud. — Typical Italian restaurant, which is very well attended. During peak hours it becomes difficult to find a place. Very tight space.

Great food and god service — The food at Bar TOTTI’s was absolutely delicious 👍 The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I can't wait to come back.

Amazing service, superb dishes — We visited Bar Totti’s at 8 pm on New Years Day. The place was packed with a line up to get in. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The service was outstanding. The entire team worked together like a well oiled machine. Given the busy atmosphere we were amazed at how quickly we were served our meals, which were perfectly prepared.

Excellent food. Good service. Popular and loud. — Excellent food. Good service. Popular and loud. This is what can describe Bar Totti’s. We went there on a Sunday for lunch, as a family of 8. We had pre-booked so we moved quickly through the queue which forms outside. We were looked after by Catherine and her colleagues who provided excellent service. The drinks and then the food arrived reasonably quickly. All the items were very well presented, authentic and delicious. The simplest item - the bread - is a delight to look at, feel with hands and eat! Vegetarians like us will love the place - there is so much choice of dishes. We chose to share all our dishes within the family. The drinks were good too - in particular the Melone Fizz I chose. Between 7 adults, our bill was about $615 including a 10% Sunday surcharge and $5.80 CC surcharge. I would happily dine here again - specially for a special occasion!

So, if you do not, then you will be — He asked for water, but ignored people. I had dinner and waited for 20 minutes and didn't give me dessert. What you ordered and bring something else. Noisy inside. The manager is really laughing. Never again. Lack of food.

Appalling service — Absolutely appalling service. The food is excellent when it arrives but not worth the service experience. They seem to be overbooking. Really not worth the effort.

Fantastic sharing dinner — Make sure you have a reservation before turning up here - the queues get long! I think a lot of the negative reviews are based on disgruntled people who have chanced their luck at getting a table and being left disappointed. We felt the quality of produce served as antipasti was excellent. Portions are generous so would recommend coming as part of a larger group if possible. Pasta dishes were inventive and well executed, again generous portions. We felt this was excellent quality and value for the price.

Poor Italian — Decided to book a table to go with my wife. Booked the table for 7pm which turned out it didn’t matter as you had to stand in a queue for 20 minutes past your booking time to be seen, then stand in a separate queue for 10 minutes to be seated. The front of house told us to stand in the queue and they will come to get us without even asking us for any details… classic bull💩ers. Not sure why this place had a queue, found the food bang average and overpriced. Must be a TikTok trend with bread that’s 90% air. Service was average too. Had better Italian in Poland near Auschwitz.

A disappointing experience — Arrived early for our reservation and were directed to join the queue of walk ins, on reaching the front we were informed that we were 15 minutes early and basically told to go away, come back at the correct time and rejoin the queue again. I expressed my frustration that despite them knowing we had a reservation we were expected to queue again, unfortunately the girl working the door thought it was appropriate to tell the other members of the party on their arrival that I was angry with her! The food was good but the service and the lack of unprofessionalism by some members of staff was diabolical. We were not checked on, had to ask someone to take our order, every course had a mistake or something we’d asked for didn’t arrive. This place is not worth the hype or the money.

Fantastic hospitality and food — The lovely, Eliza, concierge at Four Seasons, recommended this fabulous restaurant to us, citing it as one of her favourites and we can see why, it is such a treat to dine here. The vibe is cool, friendly and caring, the food is off the chart amazing and the reasonably priced wine list caters for all tastes. From the outset, it is clear to see that the Totti’s team, work together, radiate such warmth and know how to deliver great hospitality. The menu is the right balance of wholesome and decadence and the quality of food is top drawer. My son and I couldn’t decide what to choose as everything sounded delicious. Thankfully a member from Totti’s team, came to our rescue and navigated us through the menu. We finally opted for the wood fired bread, essentially because it seemed to feature on everyone else’s table and is a speciality of the house. The bread was soft and fluffy and we accompanied it with the beautifully creamy burrata, fresh tomatoes and a surprise tuna dish, marinated with lemon and capers - it was heavenly. I can’t remember the name of the pasta dish, quite garlicky, full of perfectly cooked prawns and with a light and tasty sauce. All washed down with some superb rose wine. We didn’t have room for pudding, however received some tiramisu to take away - wow, not only was this generous it was the most delicious and light tiramisu I have ever had the pleasure of eating - I would urge everyone visiting this restaurant to try it. I absolutely loved every moment in this sensational restaurant and really can’t praise it high enough.

Just average — We booked lunch at Bar Totti today to catch up with friends. First surprise, in spite of having a booking and our friends already being inside at our table we were told to queue. The food was generally okay, except for the crab pasta which was awful. Service was okay but like the food nothing special. Not somewhere I need to visit again.

Great little place — Very nice food! Ventured down George street and this little gem was nearby my hotel. Food and service were excellent and it was packed with locals. A very good sign. Highly recommend
