Springwood Cottage Resort

Absolutely enchanting! Our experience at Springwood was nothing short of magical. From the picturesque surroundings to the impeccable service, every moment felt like a fairytale. Christine, Ed and their staff went above and beyond to ensure our special day (and weekend!) was perfect, from the sunset ceremony set up at the beautiful beach to making an epic bonfire late into the evening. The cottages are cheery and have all the amenities. Our guests appreciated the hot tubs and loved having a pizza lunch with the large outdoor oven! The beach, docks, outdoor pavilion and cottages added a unique touch to our celebration, creating an intimate and unforgettable atmosphere. Our guests had a blast and left feeling refreshed. The kids were able to enjoy themselves as there’s endless amount of outdoor activities! Anything we forgot or needed, you both were on top of it! We rented a cottage for partial booking in early July. The location is gorgeous. My husband and I took full advantage of the board game library. I loved fishing off the docks and using a peddle boat to explore. My teenagers enjoyed fishing, the general store, and the wifi! The cottage was clean and well-equipped. There was a large group of regulars when we were there, but everyone was friendly. The owners are wonderful hosts and made sure to check on us. I would love to go back for a full week!

This was the best vacation we've had in a long time. The resort was inviting, peaceful, and well kept. The owners pour their heart and soul into every little detail to make your stay the best possible. Kitchens are fully stocked including appliances. There are a ton of family board games that can be utilized. The marina is conveniently located a short walk from any cottage. The convenience store had lots of food items for anything that we might have forgotten to pack. They checked in daily to see if there was anything we needed. Someone responded very quickly anytime we needed something. We could not recommend highly enough.

I hosted an ice fishing retreat at Springwood for my team from work. There were 11 of us total and we rented 2 cottages and the 2 ice fishing huts. We had an amazing time! I had been here a few times in the past as well, and there were some nice improvements since last time. The new games room was a hit, as were the stone oven pizza's and wings, which were fantastic. We caught some fish, relaxed in the hot tubs and sauna, and enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the resort in the winter time. Ed and Christine were very helpful leading up to and during our visit making sure all of my questions were answered. Highly Recommend! We will definitely be back again!
