Our whole experience with the team at Carpet Court Wollongong was excellent. Roxie was brilliant and super helpful, Sean when he came to quote us was extremely professional and Reece the installer was fantastic, he was a pleasure to have come into the house. Susie on the floor is a dream - so helpful and lovely. She took the time to help me find some options that were fire rated and hard wearing for the common foyer area in the small block of units where the carpet would be laid. The owner is unprofessional and rude. He told me that before any measuring and quotes could be done, I would need to get the Fire Brigade and Council to come out and have a look at the existing carpet and provide a fire rating. This immediately sounded strange as my strata management are incredibly thorough and hadn't mentioned anything about a fire rating when we discussed re-carpeting. I called my strata management and the local Fire Brigade and another carpet store to see if this was a thing and all told me they had never heard of this in their lives (the firey has been in the business for 20 years, the woman at the other carpet store for 5 years, and my strata management for 10 years). When I got confirmation that this wasn't a thing, I called the owner back to request measuring and quotes. As I was explaining that I had checked with strata and the fire brigade and that no one had heard anything like this, he cut me off and said he had no interest in doing the job without this information. An incredibly bizarre experience. The 2.8 star rating is making a lot of sense.

Terrible customer service. In store they promise you a lot of action and follow up but the reality is they do not follow up even after repeated attempts to contact and move forward with the job. Go elsewhere.

I was in Carpet Court in Wollongong (who I used a few years ago) looking at potential flooring options when I witnessed a terrible interaction between the staff and a customer. The woman had apparently come in to chase up a delay in her carpet being laid and she was told point blank in front of everyone else on the floor "we already told you we can't come, do you need to be told twice." I was shocked that a someone would speak to a customer in that way. It got worse though. She asked to speak to the manager and he said pretty much the same thing - basically "are you deaf, do you need to be told twice". I honestly have never witnessed such a disrespectful conversation in my life. I walked out and will never go back.

The staff have exceptional service and knowledge! They went above and beyond to help us choose the right floor. We even picked up some bathroom accessories! Great service and competitive pricing in both carpet and bathroom departments! Ps. Our floors look AMAZING!

Initial customer service in the store was good but terrible communication about the requirements for installation. When I raised issues with the installation the manager's immediate response was to yell at me and threaten legal action rather than try and find a solution. I would not recommend them at all.
