Sleep Inn & Suites

When me and my friend first arrived to the hotel, we checked in and our cards did not work to the room that we were assigned to so the lady redid our cards and they still did not work then she came up with different cards to a different room and those cards worked for that room. The room looked nice. The Jacuzzi was OK but when I woke up, I noticed that I had been bit up by bedbugs. The guy that I spoke to, was trying to tell me that they did not rent out the room that I was in, so I felt like he was trying to call me a liar Then he says that they have never had a problem with that room or bugs I told him that not everyone gets bit by bedbugs, which is a fact!! I then asked to speak with a manager, and he told me that the manager would not be in until this upcoming Tuesday. I will not be going there again!

I am a choice hotel rewards member (Platinum and almost up to Diamond level), and I have stayed at many different choice hotels all over the U.S.A. The Sleep Inn & Suites in Oregon Ohio is my favorite out of all the Choice hotels I have stayed in. There are times I just need a room for my traveling, but there are many times I stay for some much needed rest and relaxation, and no matter the reason for my stay (unless I can't be in Ohio due to travel), I would choose this location and branch. The new management is diligently upgrading the lobby, dining room, pool, and all three floors; the staff is warm, friendly, and down to earth (making it easy to feel like you can make requests that will help make your stay even better); the rooms are much bigger than most hotels (including other "suites"), and the personal whirlpools/hot tubs in the suites have the strongest jets of any other hotel suite I have stayed in (anywhere). I highly recommend staying here for families, mothers who need a break, fathers who need a break, couples who want some relaxing time together, and writers who want to relax their muscles in the whirlpool and get a great night's sleep in between gathering their thoughts to create the kind of worlds that characters seem to be able to jump out of the page to grab the reader's hand and pull them into the story with them!

Nice and safe place. Room was huge , very clean and comfortable. Location was plus point No bed bugs. It made me satisfy with my stay. They are remodeling I will defiantly come back

Well, I paid almost 150 for a jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi doesn’t work at all. They barely have warm water for the shower. The carpets in the hallway are sticky. The pool states it’s heated clearly it wasn’t it was extremely cold. I definitely don’t recommend this place. Paint chips and stains all over . If I would have known all this I definitely wouldn’t have stayed here or paid 150. I’ve spent 86 at a motel which was 10x better this.

BED BUGS. This hotel is generally worn down and old and a little smelly, but clean enough and a convenient location. We aren't fussy and were really fine with the place until we discovered bed bugs in our room. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful when we reported the problem and quickly moved us to a room on a different floor. The moment we walked into that room, we discovered it also was crawling with bed bugs -- literally climbing the wall. That was enough for us, and we left in the middle of the night to find a different hotel. The staff were kind and very helpful, but I did not get the sense that this was at all a surprise to them.
