Was properly treated, staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again. The only challenge was that it took too long to get my glasses ready and also the eye glasses ranges and design were not enough it took time for me to get a good fit. I had to come back to get my fit. Kindly have a lot more variety of glasses design. Infact, have a wide range. Of beautiful strong and affordable glasses
Skipper Eye-Q hospital is an Opthamology specialty hospital in a class of her own in Nigeria. The Excellent approach to patient care is world class. Noteworthy is the Medical Director’s professionalism. Dr Temitope Tijani has an unwavering patient first disposition and attends to each patient on case by case, one at a time basis. She listens actively and puts you in the know of what and why some approach and treatment is needed without boring you with the medical jargons. This make many of us not only endeared to the hospital but also refer friends, Colleagues and relations to the hospital. Worth of mention is the sight condition of a colleague that defy solution abroad but under the care of Dr Temitope Tijani, the eye sight was perfectly restored. Skipper Eye-Q hospital team, please keep the excellent work as sky is the limit of your performance both home and intercontinental wise.
The set up of this business - especially the modern equipment - evince that they are good at what they do. The place is also easy to access; conspicuously located along Sanusi Fafunwa street in Victoria Island, Lagos. However, service can be downright appalling with regards to waiting time. The place is always crowded and you can easily be kept waiting for hours - I spent over 4 hours waiting to see a Doctor and had to leave without seeing one. The staff were not helpful. This is a sore point that needs to be remedied; it is sad enough that people who come here need urgent medical intervention and thus have to endure very long wait times - reminiscent of public hospitals. Another tragic experience was with the convenience. The two male toilets (for a place which usually has over 50 patients at any time) are tiny and the one I used had no lock! A good optical medical facility, but more attention should be paid to customer service and comfort.
The clinic seems well organized. Noise level is very low. Cordial attendants from the door to the reception. Quick registration followed by queued call up to see doctors and optometrists. Waiting area can get crowded even though they have spaced sitting, it gets violated slightly for lack of a better option for waiting. Parking can be very difficult as is for places in the area. Frames are available for purchase, lovely ones too with good price range. Generally, I'd recommend them. Surely.
