My stay at Shiv Ashray Varanasi was an absolute delight and a highlight of my trip. This hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and authentic local charm. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat from the vibrant streets of the city. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the main attractions. Its super close to temple.I want to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to Sangeeta aunty. She truly made our stay feel like we were visiting family.

The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the washroom was spotless. The staff was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Neelu's Kachori Shop is in the same lane as of this hotel. Reflecting on my stay, I especially appreciate the warm and helpful nature of the hotel staff. Ms. Sangeeta was exceptionally kind, composed, and supportive throughout our interactions. Her professionalism, combined with genuine empathy, made her a pleasure to speak with. During my stay, she promptly resolved the hot water issue in my room and offered me an alternative room without any delay. Overall, I found this hotel to be a good place to stay. Coordinating with the owner/in-charge, Ms. Shalini, was also smooth and pleasant—she addressed all my queries promptly and efficiently. I was particularly grateful that they extended our stay for half a day at no extra cost and even assisted with our luggage up to the main road. A highly recommended place for anyone visiting the area! I would definitely visit again next time.

One highlight was the lady at the reception — she was very helpful, courteous, and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. That said, I would recommend staying here only if you’re visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, as the hotel is located in a network of narrow lanes. Vehicle access is restricted, and I had to walk about 500 meters after the traffic police stopped our car due to local regulations. Overall, it's a comfortable place with good amenities and great service, ideal for those visiting the temple.
