With so much competition in the area it’s hard to choose where to get food from. Luckily we came here and had some great chips and sausages with a side of curry sauce! The food was cooked just right and it only took them a few minutes to be ready. The curry was was extremely nice as well! Staff were friendly and worked through the big queue outside quickly. We would definitely come here next time we’re here!
I had fish chips and mushy peas from the ships galley. My meal was delicious, and the chips were probably some of the best chip shop chips I have ever tasted. The fish and peas were also top quality. I can highly recommend the fish and chips from this shop.
Had Large Fish & Chips (maybe should have had just regular) and Double Cheeseburger & Chips plenty of food and all cooked well chips were just right and fish was freshly cooked in crispy batter. Wife said burger was really good. Our dog Maddie also enjoyed the large sausage .
Best fish and chips in West Bay. Continued to go back the whole week we stayed. The chips always had a nice crunch and never soggy. My veggie burger was delicious too and i really liked the bread roll it came in.
Excellent sized portions with gluten free options too. If you are ever passing West Bay and hungry, Ships Galley is worth the small diversion off the the main Bridport road.
