Excellent. The stay was unexpectedly fantastic. The rooms are neat, well maintained, and hygienic. The housekeeping staff is courteous and obliging. The Jadeja family, takes good care of the guests. It is like staying with a family. One feels safe, secure, and very comfortable. The food is simple but excellent. The conversations with the family is enlightening.
A very happy comfortable and enriching experience. The whole property is a part of history itself and getting to stay here was an awesome opportunity. Further the royal family is very hospitable and friendly. Recommended stay for touring in Bhuj.
Beautiful ambience, cool heritage rooms with all the facilities. Good,warm hosts who attend to you personally with home cooked meals and look after you v well. The Palace and museum in thevicinity have good exhibits from a bygone Era.
Staying at the Sharad Baud homestay truly felt like home - in a very opulent kind of way . I would like to thank each one of the hosts for opening up their lovely place to guests and yet being totally non intrusive and attending to every need in real quick time . The homestay campus is vast - it also houses the museum and the palace - it makes for a great morning walk ! Our room was comfortable and had all amenities and anything that was needed was just a bell away . A special mention for Anirudh - the bright and extremely polite young man who wants to do more with the space the property offers - best of luck to him and I hope to dine at his place the next time I am there - and I would definitely hope to return . The communication during the booking process was clear and quick at all times. The homestay provides breakfast while lunch and dinner can be be ordered via food delivery apps - it totally worked for us .
Pros: - Excellent location, near to city yet peaceful - Huge property with pets, terrace, seating areas - well maintained large and clean rooms - great hosts Cons: - the outside areas are dusty - breakfast serving is slightly slow. Overall if you you prefer peaceful and calm stay then look no further. You can't expect luxury or glamourous looking rooms/areas but if that's fine with you then this is a nice place.
