Sergio, and his team are great. I had back taxes and I needed them consolidated into a pre existing payment plan for a prior year. Something TurboTax was not able to help me with even with their “experts” But Sergio made it an easy, quick, stress free process.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Semper Tax Relief. Based on what Sergio told at the beginning, I expected professional support and resolution for my case. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened. Sergio made false promises about what he could do, and none of those were fulfilled. My case was never completed, and I ended up with even more penalties due to their lack of professionalism and followthrough. Communication dropped off almost entirely after I made a full payment. My calls and emails went unanswered for weeks. The office location listed seems misleading. I eventually found the actual location on my own and visited in person. I only found one individual, Sergio, there during normal business hours, who claimed the rest of the staff were on vacation. He assured me he would follow up on my case, but I never heard from him again. Also, I spoke to someone who answered their phone line and admitted they weren’t affiliated with the firm. They were just a call answering service and didn’t know what the company actually did. I was told I would receive a refund, but that never happened either. In my personal experience, this firm did not deliver on its promises and left me worse off than when I started. I’m currently pursuing legal action and will update this review accordingly.

Beware of this company! After almost two years, nothing has been done for us and our phone calls, emails, and messages keep getting ignored. We believe we have been scammed by them. Their behavior toward us was predatory. Seemed very eager to "onboard" us. They requested up front payment of thousands. But they didn't do anything for us. At this point, we just want them to refund us and have no dealings with them anymore. I'm suprised they have so many positive reviews.

I found Sergio Melendez just typing on YouTube for late tax penalty questions, I watched a few of his videos(which were incredible free resources for incredible tax information) which lead me to his website. I was excited to find that he has a 24 seven line to schedule appointments. For me as a Chicano having a personal voice to talk to about my tax issues really meant a lot to me. the next day I scheduled appointment with Sergio he called me on time was only supposed to spend 25 minutes with me.
