Always professional and knowledgeable
Dr Bhargava been treating my son over a year. She’s been very excellent with providing him the best care and giving me the knowledge needed for his best treatment. Her current staff is always very friendly and helpful. I’m glad I was able to get her to treat my sons illness.
Could not even take my son to this doctor. They told me that my co pay would be $190. I called Cigna and they had no idea why they would be charging me this much (my co pay for specialist is only $35). I called the next business day to ask why they were charging this price. The billing person (Maria I think) immediately got defensive and yelled at me asking if I wanted her to cancel the appointment. I told her no I wanted her to call Cigna and figure out why they wanted to charge me so much. She replied that she had a claim number and and did not need to call. I told her I would be going to sleep as I work night shift and she could call me and leave a message and inform me of what Cigna said. She once more began to get upset and yelled "do you want me to cancel the appointment?!". I was surprised by this because I thought she was going to find a solution, and I said "sure if that's what you want to do". I ended the call and found a closer doctor in Leesburg and when I was making the appointment I asked the new office to please tell me what the cost of the appointment would be. The new Office looked it up on the Cigna portal and stated it would only be $35. Out of curiosity, I asked if she would have any idea why the other doctors office would have tried to charge me that price. She stated that she had no idea and could not even imagine why. well that's it that's my review, and after reading all the other reviews I'm glad it worked out this way. 1/10 would rather get robbed to my face in a back ally then under the guise of health care for my son, would not recommend.
Did not appreciate her making me feel like a horrible mother and also being threatened.. she told me that if I didn’t keep an accurate record of my baby’s feedings she would have her admitted to the hospital I did the best I could and wrote down the times I could I also was working and could not keep track when I was not there.. that was the last time she saw my baby my baby girl is happy healthy and growing and eating just fine and all that was wrong was she had a milk allergy that we’ve taken care of.. I would never recommend this doctor and her staff weren’t much better and I also always was waiting way past my appointment time
I don't know how she can be a physician for kids and adolescents. She has no compassion, is cold, rude, and disrespectful. I took my son to her because of constipation issues and I explained to her from the begining that he suffers from a mental health disorder that exhacerbates it. She had no compassion and actually made him feel worst about his mental health disorder. I totally regret taking him to her. It was a waste of time and money. Luckly, I found a great doctor that is helping my son now.
I can’t even comment on whether this doctor is good or not because I can’t get an appointment. I was told that the latest they see new patients is 2:15 PM. Excuse me but kids are in school, aren’t they? You would think they would offer appointments after 3 PM, evening or even Saturday morning appointments so as not to disrupt children’s learning. Elementary schools release at 3 PM and middle schools release at 4. Well after seeing the other reviews it looks like we are better off going elsewhere.
I have had both my children with Dr. Bhargava about close to 10 years now or so or little under, however even with previous off track we continued with her being she is known to the community as one of the best at doing her job, many times we have come in with having long waits, and as some negative replies she can be cold rude and disrespectful, which we have experienced in the pass years some disrespect but today on our virtual call I was not going to allow it. I told her if you are concerned about the issues of our choice using virtual visit and the system did not text my phone and we were waiting, but I had to be told she has to make the appt. quick because she has other patients to see. Excuse me you are being paid for all your patience. I dislike having to file complains rather give great reviews than negative. You can see the frustration as she was trying to hurry through, I felt I accomplished nothing on this visit. I understand that with a in person and a virtual visit is very different, however given the circumstances of today's world it pretty much is what it is, yes though my children are vaccinated and going face to face, I did not need to be told that they are more exposed in school than in her office. Though there is only two options now face to face or online learning which caters not to ESE students of special needs. The discrimination there we are pretty much forced to send our children to get IEP/504 accommodations in school, which aren't always met without advocating. We are doing our best to keep them safe and masked and healthy. I have to admit am very disappointed in our visit it being virtual or in person. And I have had all my other doctors be able to do their very best virtual and not felt disrespected or uncomfortable.
