Robins & Day Peugeot Birmingham Central

Went for a test drive of the new C5 Aircross and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. This was my first experience dealing with Citroen and I can honestly say that Robins and Day especially the salesman Anthony were very professional with great knowledge of the various buying options available to me. I wasn't put under any pressure and was left to think and decide what I wanted to do. Nothing was to much trouble he was very polite , helpful not pushy like at some dealerships a true gentleman Thank You. I purchased the model I test drove and I'm picking it up this week cant wait. I must also mention Shiv the manager I did give him a hard time negotiating a deal but he was very fair and I got a great price for my trade in. I will be taking my car back to them for servicing rather than use 2 other Citroen dealers nearer to my home. The service is faultless and would highly recommend them to anybody.

I was looking for the impossible car, they found a very close match. The sales manager actually drove it home and back to reflect mixed driving in the city. He and his team are very approachable, and open to helpful discussions. The car was presented in excellent condition, and we look forward to many years of pleasure from it. My wife of fifty years came close to divorcing me over the purchase, but Shiv and his team made the experience very calming and helpful. Good negotiating and communicating teamwork.

Updated review: Got through to the dealership and spoke with Jay who has been excellent. Much like all the staff here. The car will be repaired by another dealership closer to me so depending on how this goes my rating has increased to a 4 as I still can’t get over how many issues I’ve had with the car in the space of 3 months. Hopefully this will be the last for a while. Original review: Bought a used Citroen from here three months ago. Throughout the sale all the members of staff were amazing. Had a follow up call a week after the sale and all was good. However, a day after this call the car developed a fault and I attempted to get in touch, but nobody got back to me. I solved one of the issues myself but one is still ongoing. One month after the sale, the car broke down on the motorway and cost over £300 to fix. Now, three months on I have just got back home after yet another fault and trip to the mechanic which is going to cost upwards of another £300 to fix. All within 2,000 miles of use. It feels like they knew the car was knackered when they sold it to me and have now just taken my money and run. I feel robbed. Also I live half way across the country from the dealership and this is why I can’t just pop in. Avoid if you like to spend your money on anything other than repairs.

Collected my new car today and the whole experience from start to finish was 10/10! Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team at Birmingham Central and the staff always make you feel so at ease, like you’ve known them for years! This is my second car from them and it won’t be my last. Thank you to Aaron for being so helpful from start to finish and helping me with my new purchase! I look forward to the next time! I received brilliant service today when buying my new Peugeot. The salesman, Anthony, who served me, was extremely friendly and did his upmost to make sure that my budget was adhered too. Although the dealership was busy, Anthony made sure that I was not rushed and that I felt comfortable for my entire visit. He was knowledgeable about the cars and offers available to me and was very easy to deal with. The duty manager was also great. He listened carefully to my budget needs and made sure that I came away happy. Thank you both for making it such an easy and pleasurable visit.
