I have been working at Riverside College for the past 3 years and can honestly say that I have found my home. Riverside College has allowed me to flourish as the teacher I have always aspired to be. I thrive in a trusting and supportive environment and this is what Riverside provides. The parents and staff work together as a team to help the learners reach their full potential.
Working at Riverside is like being part of a family. It is an environment where everyone is part of a team whether you are part of the staff or a learner, we all look out for each other and care for one another. The teachers know all the learners by name, we see each child as an individual and strive to help the learner further develop on their skills and talents.
Our son loves art and he is in Grade 11 at Riverside. The small classes and expertise of the educators gives him the nurturing environment in which he can flourish. Riverside is a viable, good option if you are looking for something more than a regular offering at a traditional school.
I have been working at Riverside College for the past 7 years and it has been absolutely amazing. My colleagues are the most supportive group anyone could ask for and they always jump in to make a success of any task we take on. Management always has an open door policy, which makes it so comfortable to share any information or concerns about anything. I love working at Riverside College and working there has really opened my eyes as to my true purpose.
Hi I am Lyn Boake an intermediate phase educator at Riverside College. I love the family feel to the school, not only the people but the buildings as well. The intimate environment allows our children to develop and thrive. We all learn together here.
