Highly recommended Putney Charcoal!! The gym pack always hits and has the perfect amount of protein carbs and fibres all in the one. Everyone there is really accommodating and friendly. Have to add the music is on point and makes it such a vibe. AND the biscoff cheesecake… I couldn’t resist… WOW
Since new owners taken over this place has gone downhill. Used to love going here getting a chook feast every couple of weeks for the family, the vibe was and the the staff was super friendly. Can't say it's like that any more, over priced and poor customer service. The only thing it still has going is the food is still okay. Avoid if you can find a better chicken shop.
Putney Charcoal is great for burgs and chips. My fave is the Putney special and the Aussie Burg. It’s all freshly made and delicious. There’s a few tables outside but it’s more of a take away shop. There’s not much parking around so I always go in non peak lunch or dinner time.
My favourite charcoal chicken shop by far. Top quality food and always the best service - greeted with a smile every time. Aussie burger is a winner and the chicken itself is so moist. I travel from Gordon just for Putney charcoal.
Just had an Aussie burger combo. Spent a little more than I wanted too, but it was quality. Great chips and a real freshness to the burger. Highly recommend.
Unbelievable experience, Great service and food. Our new regular. Had the chicken and my son had the Portuguese burger. Definitely didn’t disappoint!

I moved back into the area recently, and wow what the new owners have done to this shop! From the warm greeting, to the service and the food itself it was 10/10. The Aussie burger was outstanding, the patty was juicy and the salad fresh. The Chicken burger was perfectly done, beautiful grilled chicken breast, fresh salads and great sauce. Make sure you get chips with your order as they were the perfect crunchiness and paired well with the garlic and Peri Peri sauces on offer. Overall outstanding, very friendly vibe and perfect for a Sunday lunch with the family!
First time here and it was a fantastic experience. The lady is very friendly and welcoming. They have a wide choice of charcoal chicken and plenty of side dishes too. Everything looked really delicious but I had already bought some other takeaway. Their Caesar salad is absolutely amazing. Definetely have to get some on the side. Would come back again for the charcoal chicken next time.
