Play it again has always been our go to from anything from baseball and hockey to work out equipment. Chris helped us out a lot with catchers gear the last time and was wonderful!

Honestly found everything I needed including a pair of used hockey skates because my feet have changed since I last skated. Very friendly. However, there were 5 employees behind the registers when I checked out and asked about sharpening the blades. No one knew how but one and I said that’s ok. I’ll just do it at the rink. The employee insisted that he knew how to do it so I let him. Unfortunately, he wasn’t even back long enough to do it properly, for one. For two, I laced them up today for the first time and had no edge on one. I had to immediately take them off and have someone sharpen them. In the grand scheme for me, $6 isn’t a big deal - but PIAS likely has a lot of people who don’t know better buying used gear for kids. If you aren’t skilled and don’t know what you are doing, you can seriously cause someone to be injured. Please properly train your employees on sharpening a skate or don’t do it.

I purchased a large amount of weight plates today, and all of the staff were helpful and friendly except for one man. After I paid for the weights, he appeared and repeatedly asked his coworkers if I had paid, and kept asking me if I had a receipt. While I was loading the plates into my car, he followed me and my wife around the store watching us. After I loaded the weights into my car, he demanded that I pull my car to the front of the store so that he could count them. I did so, and he seemed very disappointed that I didn’t steal. Rather than help me, he treated me like a criminal. He also didn’t ask for my number for rewards purposes. I will shop here again, but that guy sucks.

First time was assisted purchasing bat and they sold us a tee ball bat (we were clear what age/league/bat requirement) Associate was apologetic for return but after returning to get a different one-first practice discovered bat was broken. Years prior no issues.

Our first visit here and an amazing experience! We were looking for a new bat for my son. I knew very little about bats, just what his coaches told me. We had wonderful customer service from Kevin (I think that was his name). He even got to go in the back to try them out before purchasing. They had a better variety than other places we looked at. While it's a bit of a drive from where we live completely worth it!

The employees were nice and attentive. Clean place with a bathroom open to customers. The only downside is they didn’t have my soccer gear. The brand was limited to one or two for everything. Everything was great except that, soccer seemed to be the one sport they didn’t have a lot of equipment for unfortunately.
